These notebooks are just as described in the listing. They are perfect for taking notes, Cornell-style, and have proven to have nice durability over time and use. Their size makes it easy to pack them into a purse or backpack and the quality is nice, overall.

I was excited to get these notebooks because I've wanted a spiral Cornell style notebook. These are indeed spiral Cornell style notebooks with 20 wide ruled lines on each page. But they need some quality control. Some of the wires weren't aligned with the holes and I needed to bend them by hand to make them fit. The pages seemed to be cut in batches because they weren't all the same size or the holes weren't punched in the same spots, and some pages were bent and creased. The paper seems to be normal notebook paper, so most pens will be fine but may show ghosting on the back of the page.

The notebooks arrived in good condition, and are essentially exactly as described and pictured on the Amazon page. The listing is a bit vague or confusing as to how the notebooks are bound. They are Twinwire bound, similar to spiral bound, but much more user-friendly. The pages do not bind or twist the binding loops like true spriral-bound notebooks do, making them much easier to flip through the pages backwards and forwards. I find the twinwire binding to be much better than spiral-bound, and am willing to pay a bit more for this.Be aware that the lined section of each page is a bit wider than "college-ruled" layout. Not a problem unless you are dead-set on having true a College-Ruled layout.Note that the edges of the pages are not pre-perforated to tear away from the binding loops in a straight or smooth line as many spiral-bound notebooks come. I do not see this as an issue as I either keep the pages in the binding, or tear them out and discard them.Both sides of each page have the same layout of three areas. The front and back covers are sturdy plastic, and the ones I got did have the thin bungee loop to either hold the notebook closed, or to mark a specific page.These are nice, simple notebooks with good paper and sturdy covers. I love the size and way of taking notes, but I'm very rough on the binding.

The notebooks, from spiral end to cover edge is A5, but the paper within the notebook is not A5. It measures 5.5in x 8.125in, or 139.7mm X 206.375mm. Not true A5.Also the paper is really thin. I cannot use a Pilot rollerball pen because it bleeds through. I did like that the pages are set up for Cornell notes. But due to ink bleed, only one side of each page is usable. The cover is a bit too flimsy of a plastic.

I got these because the way they are designed on the pages, I thought they would be perfect for writing down all the recipes that I have that were my mothers. I really don't like using the index cards that most people use, because they get lost so easily in my opinion. These notebooks however, are a good size, and they have an elastic band to keep them closed which I really like.Obviously, these can be used for many different reasons. The covers are really durable and strong, so they will be able to stay in good condition for a long time. So I recommend these to anyone who has a need for them because they are a good value, they are durable, and have many different uses. Who couldn't be more organized these days anyways?!?

There are times when I want to go old school and take real notes with a pen and paper. When I do that, if I don't have a notebook handy, I will use post-its, which then end up here, there and everywhere.In order to stay organized, I decided to get these notebooks to organize my notes and keep everything in the same place. So far, so good!I love the way the notebooks look. The smaller size makes them just right to shove into my purse so I always have one handy.The paper is nice, and the covers are thick enough to not get ripped off in the recesses of my purse. Loving these so far!

I didn’t care for the paper type

Recién recibí el paquete con 3 libretas y hace meses compré un paquete similar, posiblemente del mismo proveedor (la ocasión anterior el papel era diferente, todas las pastas eran transparentes y las libretas no tenían la liga negra). Comparando ambas opciones: el papel ahora es menos grueso, casi transparente. En cuanto a la liga negra, no parece tampoco de la mejor calidad. Compraría otra vez este paquete? Creo que no. Solución? Ojalá pronto vuelva a estar disponible el paquete de 3 libretas con pastas transparentes y mejor papel.
