Rain-X Roof top Bag

Bought for use on a camping trip, only put bulky light weight items ( bedding, towels etc ) in it. First leg of the journey was fine, about 140 miles with some rain. Arrived with all items safe and dry, impressed with my buy . But on the return leg, the bag has split at a seam. Strange as split at the rear of the bag, not the front face that gets buffered by the wind. Will be returning for a refund and investing in a bulky roof box ☹

Excellent. Waited until used it a few times before reviewing. Takes huge amount of gear so long as its not delicate. Really weathertite just done 300 miles in torrential rain, arrived with everything dry inside. Really pleased as much cheaper than roof bars and top box also much easier to store when not in use. Well made so hope will last good long time.

Used this twice now and its really good.Had to leave it packed with blankets to try and get the creases out of it when opened. The heat of the sun makes the bag softer, so its easy to pack/unpack on a warm day.

I don't have 4 bars bit secured it with rachet straps. Worked well just that it wouldn't fit suitcases only soft bags but we kind off managed to get stuff in. Good bits it is quite sturdy and secure edges don't let rain seep in.

Lasted perfectly on a 2000 miles trip, even through a bout of pouring rain. The first one came ripped at the seams so I'd advise buyers to carefully check it upon delivery.

Damaged on arrival, like a previous reviewer said - poor/non-existent quality control. Hole beyond the zip line where it looks like no attempt had been made to join, another where the gum used to seal was visible but not applied adequately. To top it off the internal label had been sown though when the zip was attached, leaving the top part visible externally. Quite disappointed as I regularly use Rain-X additive to my screenwash and on this basis thought the rain repellency would be up to the task. My confidence in the product is so poor that I'll not chance a replacement and have requested a refund.

Bought this together with roof rack cage/tray. Extremely versatile with plenty of room for luggage, etc. Waterproof too. Straps to hold in place a little fiddly...but that could just be my fat fingers ! :)

Excellent roof bag. You can fit loads of stuff in it and it folds away into a nice little bag. Really waterproof.Designed to fit side on roof bars but I've managed really easily with horizontal bars. Definitely recommend.
