The tripod came in very nice packaging very sturdy and secure, which is a good job as the package arrived pretty badly crushed; there appeared to be no damage to the contents. The tripod is a good size with legs long enough to wrap around most things, they are very flexible but seem to keep their shape once manipulated. I love the phone screw clamp attachment that comes with this tripod, it's a little slower to use than a spring type clamp but it feels really safe and secure once clamped tight plus you always knock the buttons when using spring clamps, the screw clamp opened up large enough for my Samsung Note 9. One of the reasons I purchased this tripod was for the METAL ball joint, The last tripod I used had a plastic part which broke at this point when trying to adjust the tilt. The tripod and all the attachments are solid and give no vibration with the exception of the portrait phone adaptor which does give a little wobble if windy or on an unstable attachment point. Using the phone clamp without that extension piece is extremely solid though. I tested mine in a skatepark attaching the tripod to vertical steel columns, wooden handrails, stood upright on ramps and handheld (follow me) uses. Each time the tripod worked perfectly, I didn't even get any wobble when prodding the phone to start or stop recording. I couldn't try out the gopro attachment as I don't have one but it appears to be fine. the tripod should be fine for heavier dslr's providing you ensure the tripod is well attached to your anchor point. It's a shame about the portrait phone swivel part and the addition of magnetic feet would have made this unbeatable but I would still definitely recommend this tripod to anyone, It's well worth the asking price and you get everything you should need in the box.

I film a lot of top-down tutorial videos and have recently stepped into live presenter-style videos. I have to film in a range of locations often at short notice and can't have a permanent setup, so I have been using a mash of clip-on arm mount attached to a traditional tripod. It has been messy, annoying and unstable at best. Not to mention bulky! This travel tripod seemed to offer a solution at a great price. To start, the presentation box was beautiful - it would definitely make a great gift for someone, and looks far more expensive than it is. I rarely film or photograph with my DSLR these days, however the adapter on the tripod would allow me to do so. My main need was for a secure, flexible tripod to hold my iPhone - and this does that very well. The connection is very simple and easy to assemble. The main feature here is the flexibility to rotate the camera to whatever angle you want, but whilst having a really strong and robust bracket to keep it sturdy. All the connections here are easily adjustable but very secure. The tripod legs are a work of genius - quite thick, able to bend pretty much any way you need them to and very steady. They also have a slightly pliable foam-like feel to them, which makes them more grippy on more slippery surfaces you may want to attach it to. I can use this as a table top option or attach to anything, pretty much - which is brilliant when I'm on the move and having to pop up a recording space on the go. So door handles, lamps, radiators, table edges and legs - I can literally attach it to anything available. Great little tripod, and super impressed with the stability of it - so small I can carry it around in my regular bag, and lightweight too. Can't go wrong with this beauty :)

This is a generally good item. With the following comments The three legs are a good design and do their job. The camera mount, it cannot be adjusted to have the camera closer to the pivot point or centre of gravity. A slotted hole in the camera mount would enable this.The main central pivot head must be tightened to one rotational position, would like if it were lockable in anywhere on the circumference. There is an additional small part with a screw and nut that I cannot find a use for. There are no instructions included. Otherwise this product is quite usable and appears to be well made.

This is a really well built and robust tripod. The legs bend like an Octopus mount - which means it can be attached to trees and fences - but also stood on the ground. An excellent product and well worth the price.

The parcel was just dumped at my door, no ringing the door bell or knocking to let me know, not even a text or an email. It was a neighbour who knocked to let me know. I'm luck it wasn't stolen. Disgusting delivery service. The Lammcou Octobus flexible tripod is sturdy and seems to be of good build quality. Unlike other similar products, the ball head is changeable which is a plus. The rubber covering on the flexible legs do grip around the small branch of a tree and remains steady. Good value for money, will have to wait and see how it performs on other platforms in the field.

Excellent camera grip, very flexible and able to attach to a lot of places. Well designed and blends in when filming love productions. Great value and easy to set up.

El trípode me llegó en una caja de tamaño medio, bien empaquetado. Se monta rápido y aparentemente tiene buenos materiales. Ya lo he usado para grabar con el móvil y con una Canon EOS M50 (mirrorless) y con ambos dispositivos se hace muy cómodo su uso. Aunque se podría utilizar también con una cámara dslr, no lo recomiendo, no por la estabilización del trípode (que es buenísima) sino por la salud de tu hombro. Sin duda un aparato fantástico para grabar vlogs en la calle o como herramienta de trabajo para un creador de contenido que viaja continuamente y le gusta improvisar con los planos de grabación. Las patas son muy flexibles y al mismo tiempo mantienen buena rigidez. Llevo con el 1 semana y por ahora contento y satisfecho.

Déjà en possession d'un trépied de voyage, je ne pouvais plus l'utiliser avec mon nouvel appareil photo hybride qui était bien trop lourd pour lui. Je me suis donc tourné vers ce trépied qui est bien plus résistant et accepte sans broncher le poids de mon appareil photo (800 g). Il est très stable et la matière qui compose les pieds permet de le mettre dans n'importe quelle position même si le poids de l'appareil photo est important. Les pieds sont antidérapants ce qui permet de ne pas glisser quelle que soit la surface sur laquelle on le pose; je n'ai pas envie de retrouver mon appareil au sol lorsque je le pose sur une roche humide un peu inclinée. Il est pratique car très maniable, on le met en place facilement sans perdre de temps. Cela permet de se concentrer sur la photo plutôt que sur le matériel. La rotule qui permet de faire pivoter la tête se bloque et se débloque très facilement, rien à redire la dessus. Il est livré avec tous les accessoires nécessaires : un support pour le téléphone, un support pour une caméra de prise de vue sportive ( type GoPro) et le support classique pour appareil photo. Ce kit est complet et inspire confiance de part sa qualité. Même le coffret dans lequel est livré le produit est superbe, on croirait ouvrir le coffret d'un téléphone haut de gamme. On ne s'attend pas à cela pour le prix. Son poids est très léger ce qui permet de le mettre dans/sur le sac à dos pour les randonnées ou les voyages. Il ne fait que 230g et ce replie très bien. Je recommande sans hésitation ce produit qui ira partout avec moi.
