Product looks reasonable quality and brought for a gift so very presentable. Needed plain paper that would hold up to drawing and painting.Came a little smaller than I expected so did not seem as good value as another one I brought ....time well tell.

High hopes, came in a nice box, looked pretty. The people who say the cover seems cheap are really right. The leather does really feel flimsy. I wouldn't be surprised if it ripped. That would be fine, but it's the paper that's the problem.It's thick paper, it feels nice. I tend to throw any random combination of mediums at my sketchbook. The thing that bugged me most is that it doesn't take graphite well. It's a real struggle to make anything nice with graphite when a blending stump turns everything to streaks. Pens are also a problem. I've tried sharpies to fine liners, and they bleed. If it's a pen with a lot of ink in it (like sharpies or copics), it bleeds a lot.Oil pastels don't work, but that was a long shot. The only thing that it handles well is water. It doesn't really wrinkle, so watercolour pencils are the only thing I've managed to make work. It will probably work well with a lot of different sorts of paint, but not really good for general sketching.

Excellent! After trying many other sketchbooks for drawing AND painting, this is very nice and I love the paper! It’s good for painting, and drawing and I love the leather cover. I would definitely recommend and will buy it again.

Bought for my sons doodle book for school. When it arrived, it looked far extravagant for a school book, I have kept it for myself. Too cheaply priced if you ask me 😊

The ink tends to bleed quite a bit on the paper, so I can't use it with my fountain pens, dipping pens, fine marker pens etc.
