These are a great product. We've had them for a while now and they still work well. The bright colours are great for the kids. Really useful for giving them an idea of how long they've got left to do something.

I am doing a 9 week ‘exercise’ so got these as they will come in useful when I run up and down . The info did state that there is a percentage variation in timing , so I timed the 30 second one and it appeared to have a 4 second difference ie it only was 24 seconds according to husbands second hand on his watch. The minute one has blue sand in and on occasion it seems to stop flowing. A timely flick with a finger is useful. The 2 minute one is pink and runs great. Others haven’t been tried yet. I can cope just adding an extra count of 6 for the 30 second one. Both the 30 sec and minute one are not a problem really. For the money I can’t really grumble .

These are reasonably good sand timers and you get a range of different timers, all colour coded differently. They are quite sturdy, I have dropped them on carpeted floor several times. Timing accuracy is reasonable a few seconds either way on most of the timers and since I'm only after approximate timing they work well.

Used to give the kids time limits. Nice and playful colours. Perfect small size for children's hands. Easy to use and quite accurate on the times.

My kids actually enjoyed the process of checking the accuracy, of the timers. They did this twice. That was a nice quiet hour or so.Then they decided to use them to time each other on the trampoline and swings in the garden. Finally turn taking without arguments, right?Well kind of. The yellow 3 minute (3.26 min) one cracked leaving yellow sand and glass all throughout the vial. The plastic stayed in one piece, so at least there was no immediate danger. But I'm not impressed. They worked out about a British pound each so what was I expecting?They stand by the 10 minute inaccuracy.They break easily.They are pretty colours.Meh

Excellent: do the job & well made. Helps keep family discussions on track & focused. Different topics get different timers, otherwise we never get any decisions made. Also great for practicing public speaking. Yes, an app could do this, but it’s easier to flip the timer & less stressful when practicing to watch sand than numbers counting down. We love these, use them every week or so now.
