Good!
Bought for my brother who is learning Arabic, he said it is easy to follow and has outline of words that you can trace. Not too easy not too hard. Good for beginner.

A structured and approachable starting point for learning Arabic
Learning Arabic can feel quite daunting as a complete beginner, particularly because you're also learning a new alphabet and writing system. I found the structured approach of this book helpful because it introduces things gradually rather than overwhelming you with too much information at once. It's the type of book that works best when you take your time and practise regularly rather than trying to rush through several sections in one sitting. The layout makes it useful for independent learning, but I can also see it working well alongside lessons or with someone who can help with pronunciation. For anyone beginning their Arabic-learning journey and wanting a physical book they can work through at their own pace, this provides a clear starting point and something you can keep returning to for practice.

Nice
The kids like these books for the pictures, layout and English instructions and translations. They use it alongside other more Arabic-heavy resources. This one is fun and the exercises are simple.

A classic!
A classic! I've used this in Arabic teaching and Dr Alawiye did a fantastic job with the Gateway to Arabic range. Book 2 breaks down grammar concepts into comprehensive chunks and is a good book to begin the entry into Arabic grammar. Highly recommended for Arabic teachers and learners.

Recommended but needs a teacher
This is a good book for beginners. I bought for my daughter, so pleased I will buy another for my son. I am also looking for the next level in this book series for my son, who is a little more advanced. I believe you need a Native teacher to facilitate the learning as, I believe, non-native may struggle. The price is really good. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Great book for people wanting to go past alphabet
I watched his videos to learn Arabic script so I thought I'd skip the first book. I'm now into this book and enjoying it. There are books out there that teach Arabic from a third party point of view, but this man knows how to teach from a first person point of view and progress his students through vocab and some easy grammar. Now that I can read it, I make my own flashcards on index cards and that gives me something to test myself with vocab. For pronunciation I use Google Translate which gets me there for the most part. However from reading the script you can figure it out yourself, Google is just an assistant in place of a teachers voice in case I may be pronouncing something weird. This book is laid out logically and is great for a beginner that has learned the script by watching his videos on youtube. I'm looking forward to doing the extention book and getting a good base in basic Arabic Vocab. You learn basic household items, animals, colors, fruits and vegetables, transport methods, numbers and singular / plurals. Great for beginners. But remember to learn to read Arabic script first.
