Great product
Our need for the Kong wobbler was for the opposite reason the manufacturers suggest. Our miniature poodle doesn't wolf down her food, from puppy stages she hasn't grown out of grazing and tends to "leave food for later". She will leave half her breakfast, graze throughout the day, and by dinner-time the bowl still contains some breakfast kibble so she isn't getting the full recommended amount for her size and weight. We bought the Kong Wobbler to make feeding-time fun. We put her breakfast kibble down at 8am, if she doesn't finish by 10am, we pour the rest of the kibble into the Kong Wobbler. It keeps her amused all the way until the last grain of kibble has come out and she always finishes the food within about 30 minutes of us putting the kong wobbler on the floor. It has solved all our problems with mealtimes in a way we didn't imagine when we made the purchase. The Kong Wobbler measures H 15cm x W 11cm (6 x 4.5"), the perfect size for our pooch to bat with her paw and nuzzle. It is made of sturdy red plastic in two parts - the top part is the cone in kong style with a hole, and the lower part a curved bottom tray filled with sand of some kind to weight it down. These two pieces screw together, and are unscrewed to insert the food - the screw can be a little tricky but is not difficult to correct. The hole in the Kong Wobbler is the size of a 1p piece to give you an idea of the size of kibble or treat which can come out of here. Our kibble is fairly small due to our dog being a small breed, which can make the first few taps with her paw generate a lot of kibble out of the Wobbler. As the level of kibble goes down, getting kibble out of the Wobbler becomes more and more difficult and presents a further challenge. The rattling sound you get from kibble inside the plastic really spurs her on because she knows there's more in there. To conclude the Kong Wobbler is a hard-wearing product of varying difficulty which presents a constant challenge. We found it very suitable and rewarding for our grazing miniature poodle. Highly recommend.

Excellent for wolfers!
I had one of these years ago for my previous very large GSD and it was great. Somewhere along the way I’ve mislaid it (or given it away when he passed) but it lasted years with no damage. Just bought another for my new rescue GSD who “inhales” a full meal of kibble in seconds! She was starved in her previous life so it’s to be expected. The kong wobbler arrived today, just in time for her meal so I filled it with her kibble. She soon got the hang of it after I showed her how to “paw” at it and she happily chased it around the floor ‘til it was empty. I will put all her meals in it from now on as it not only slows down her eating dramatically but also gives her some entertainment. Highly recommended for dogs that are wolfers!Incidentally, I bought the smaller size this time but it’s plenty big enough for a GSD. I’m feeding her 3 times a day and it will easily hold enough kibble for each meal. If you are feeding a large dog just one meal you’d have to refill it. The hole is plenty big enough for standard sized (adult) kibble to easily fall out.

Great enrichment
Bought this more for my puppy but 3 years later still enjoys eating meals and treats from it occasionally. Excellent way of providing enrichment and slowing down eating if they are a fast eater.Very durable and simple to use!

My puppy loves it!
This is a great alternative to give your dogs tea in or some treats. It’s amazing how quickly they work it out. I love the fact it can go in the dishwasher and I have done it and it comes out well. The hole is fairly small so you have to be selective with what you can put into it in order for your dog to be able to get them out. However with the hole being small it means loads don’t come out, therefore keeping your dog entertained longer. It’s quite expensive to buy but I would recommend it.

Keeps 4 yr old Cockapoo entertained and stimulated!
Bought this to entertain in the evening while my husband and I have our meal. My four year old Cockapoo loves this! It did take me demonstrating on the floor how to use it (I actually couldn’t get any treats out at first and though ohhh no he’ll get frustrated and hate it!) how wrong I was! First attempt I only gave to him for 10 mins and didn’t watch him (listened from another room!) you know, so he didn’t feel embarrassed or self conscious or like he was being naughty making a noise banging it about (it is a bit loud, but doesn’t bother me personally). The next evening I gave it to him and he had total confidence getting the treats out and it kept him entertained for 40mins! Now he cry’s for it when he sees me even getting it out the dishwasher (washes great btw) and can actually get the treats out in around 20mins now! Someone else commented that they put a really good smelly treat that doesn’t fit out the hole, which is a good idea! Makes it last a little longer (I don’t leave him to get frustrated with an impossible treat) so when I notice nothing else is coming out, I open it for him and give it to him. He knows that’s the end and gives us enough time to enjoy our meal without our little piggy whining for our dinner instead! V happy!

AN OK FOOD DISPENSING TOY
I bought the reccomended size toy (small) for the size of my dog, but it still looks very large. It's a hard plastic type toy with a substantial weight in the bottom half that does keep it upright - but my dog can still pick it up from the smaller top end. It wedges into his mouth so tight he struggles to get it out again. So be warned - DON'T LEAVE YOUR DOG ALONE WITH THIS TOY. The hole is also too big, and allows too much food out. It took my border terrier all of 10 seconds to work out how it works, and empty it. So, If you have an intelligent dog, this Kong Wobbler will be no challenge at all. Having said all that, he does enjoy the way it wobbles around when he pounces on it. It's an expensive item that gives up the food too quickly.
