Almost no complaints!
Great sound quality! You're able to use it while it's charging and even use it wired if you want! (If you want the least lag possible, you should use it wired, but I only notice the lag when playing Osu and not when I'm playing competitive shooters.) So it's definitely a good value for what you pay for. I wish the cord for wired listening was just a bit longer, but it's a comfortable length to move around at my desk since my PC sits very close to me. You can control the volume from the side and pause and play music by pressing the on/off button once quickly. The headphones turn facing upward so you can still hear your audio when you take them off (only if it's loud enough). It's not noise canceling, but it suppresses background noise very well. I don't hear much at all when their on, especially with game or music on. I do wish the ear cups were just slightly deeper, but the Barracuda X version does if that's what you're looking for. But that's not a downside for everyone. For me, I don't have any discomfort wearing them for long periods of time, even with them being shallow, because they are padded inside very nicely.

Great Head Phones
Edit Update (06/29/2025): The final blow to these horribly made headphones are the right ear cup has fallen off. The build quality is total trash I recommend NOT buying these. The sound, connectivity and battery life were good, but if you can't put them on your head, they are useless. It only took a year. Edit Update (10/11/2024): After 6 months of use, not hard use, where the ear cups swivel have given out to where one broke and was dangling. I was disappointed. Luckily, I remembered a super glue and baking soda trick to bond plastic. I did that to both sides and then wrapped Gorilla "duck" tape around the repair area to give support. They are back in action, electronics are fine. Something to be aware of if you have them or are planning to purchase them. Going from 5 starts down to 3 stars. The wired Sennheiser head set I was using for 7 years had the mic stop working. So I wanted to go wireless. I tried a cheaper set with poor results. Spent more $$ and picked these up. They sound fantastic using the 2.4 dongle but the mic quality to other players is not the best. Not bad just not great. They work well enough for me since I usually don't play COD?WZ3 with others. Connected to wifi, they sound horrible, but the mic quality to others is great. So pick what's important to you. They are comfortable and I really enjoy not having a wire snag on everything, also I'm able to get up and move quite a distance and have them still connected. Battery life is good enough, but when it gets low a voice will let you know. Not constantly, maybe every ten minutes

Great set of headphones for a casual listener
These headphones are good looking, high quality, and overall great for the casual listener. I've had them for about a few years now, and they still look and work like brand new. Razer is a good brand for computer accessories like this, but I understand they are not *the* best objectively. The audio quality isn't that bass-y, so if you want bass or you are an audiophile then I'd look elsewhere. Also, they are comfortable but not comfortable enough to wear for hours on end. As someone who uses headphones every now and then, they work just fine and have lasted me a long time. Overall, worth the purchase if you're not a complete audiophile.

Great Razer sound/Poor Razer Quality
I just want to preface that Razer products are great... until they are not. They are made cheaply so they NEVER last. I have owned well over a dozen other products... and they all eventually fail. Higher cost does not equal better quality... just more options or power. These headphones feel and perform wonderfully. Sound is great, all of the external features like volume dial and buttons work and feel great. Never had any issues there. I would say that the volume knob should be moved further up the edge of the cup as sometimes my shoulders drag the volume knob. The cup cushions feel great and prevents sweating from prolonged usage. Headband is comfortable and easily adjustable. Now to the bad. I have only owned them for around 8 months... and while pulling the head phones off of my head, (I was not rough with it) the edge of the casing around the band shattered. I don't mean a piece of the corner came off... I mean it damn near exploded into pieces. No idea why. It seems the backpart of the casing of the inner side of the headband below the padding... it somehow came loose and it binded up with the ear cup and shattered all of the corners off along with taking off a big chunk of the band. Not sure how in the heck this would happen unless whatever cheap glue (or lack thereof) finally gave out and you know the rest. I have yet to ever buy a headphone or pair of earbuds that will last more than about a year. Overall... these are great headphones when they are working and the band is not busy breaking to pieces unexplainably. I paid $130... so I had much higher expectations than them coming apart after 8 months. So use this info as you see fit... but treat them very gently and they may last longer than they did for me.

So far so good.
Recently got a gaming laptop so I decided to get a headset and mouse for it. Razer was what I landed on. It's a real hate and love relationship with Razer. I don't really like their software because the last time I tried logging into Synapse, it kept kicking me out and just not working. And Synapse is almost completely necessary to use Razer hardware to their fullest. Why did I come back though? Their products are always perfectly in between being cheap/affordable and ultra-quality/overpriced. I mean, $100 for a wireless headset that's both bluetooth and 2.4hz? I'll be honest and say I thought the Barracuda X (2.4hz Connection Only) was the only Barracuda they sold. Grabbed this the second I realized it was both and now I have 3 wireless headphones sitting in my room... Of the three, it's definitely the less quality sounding one but that's saying it without context. The best one I have is Sony's $350 WH1000XM4 (why cant you call it something normal Sony), followed by Corsair's HS70 Pro. Now, sure the HS70 Pro has a comparable price (Assuming they remain around $90-100 )and it might sound a bit better, but then you factor in the aspects of each of these headphones, price, comfort, features, the Barracuda comes out pretty good. If I stuck to my old headsets, I would need the Sony pair for my phone and I would need the Corsair pair for my laptop while on the go. With the Barracuda, I get rid of one extra pair of headphones. It's comfortable, sounds pretty good and fits my needs perfectly. Assuming Synapse doesn't start acting up again, I'm happy with what I have and I might make a full return to Razer products.

Constantly disconnecting after 5 months.
I have had this headset for about 5 months now. Purchased them 11/23 it’s currently 04/24. The good: they are pretty comfortable, easy to use, battery is decent, and you won’t notice them on your head. The bad: the standard sound profile is not great imo, I prefer more bass. If you want to use thx audio you have to buy it for $20. Which means you have to have the software running to use it or have access to the EQ. The ugly: The software imo doesn’t seem to be compatible with everything I use. Sometimes you’ll open a game and the sound is extremely loud, sometimes it’s extremely low. It’s very frustrating because it requires you to restart your computer multiple times for it to work. The Bluetooth dongle/connectivity for some reason has completely crapped the bed for me. Nothing on my set up has changed and now the headset just constantly disconnects for no apparent reason. I used to be able to get up, use the bathroom, go to the fridge no problem. Now if I even lean back in my chair it has a hissy fit. Now it just randomly turns off (which I assume is from losing connection). It also has difficulty connecting to my phone through the Razer app, so it may not be the dongle and may be the headset itself. I’ve tried everything to get them to work correctly again, moving my router, shutting off all Bluetooth devices, disabling Bluetooth in windows, redownloading thx Spatial Audio, and nothing has helped. I am going back to hyper X and not looking back. My last pair cloud revolver s lasted me about 6 years until I accidentally ripped out the headphone jack stepping on the cable. Do some reading on these, a lot of people have this issue.

(With Update) I've owned this since Nov 15th 2022! This is my review after almost 3 years.
Edit!!! After purchasing the exact same headset, I can tell you that they absolutely got even CHEAPER plastics! Uploading new pictures to show the new headset that I received already broke in less than 2 months! I've fixed it again with the same method that I've used in the past, but will absolutely be looking for a different brand completely after this. Soooo disappointed in it. Especially after the first set performed so well! I'm looking at buying another gaming headset after owning this one for 3 years! I immediately already know I'm purchasing the same thing. Honestly it still works great, but the plastics get a bit brittle after this long. They're very comfortable still, even with glasses! That was the biggest hurdle I experienced with finding a headset. Something with soft ear pieces that wouldn't push my glasses into the sides of my head. 3 years and honestly they're still going strong. They can connect to both computer via usb dongle or any Bluetooth device. (computer, phone, etc) The mic is very clear to all my friends online. I actually have an audio interface with a phantom power suspended mic (very high dollar), and you can tell when I switch to the other mic, but my friends have told me it's only a slight difference. They're lightweight, and cordless which is always a win/win. Range on them seem pretty good as well. I game in the basement, and can walk out into the garage upstairs or even into the driveway of my house before experiencing any issues. Definitely reaches the bathroom without any issues and that's upstairs on the other side of the house. I did buy a 12ft long USB cord, plug the dongle into it, and put it on the other side of my gaming room to help extend the range a bit though. (put it at the bottom of the stairs, behind my couch). I've touched base on one "con" already with the plastics being brittle, which I've been just using "Mighty Putty" to fix and then letting it sit all night, then it's fine again, and honestly there's only one more small thing. The volume control on it seems a bit weird after about a year, if I had to guess on the timing. I try turning it down with the headset slider, and it'll turn it down, then back up, even with me only turning it down. It's really not a huge deal for me though, because when I turn it down on the computer, a slider pops up on my screen and I can click on that to turn it down just as easily, and with my phone, obviously, you can just use your side buttons to adjust the volume. Overall though, these have definitely stood the test of time as far as the speakers go. Both right, and left still work just fine. Plenty of sound for someone looking to listen to music, audiobooks, video calls, or even trying to hear footsteps in your favorite game. The noise deadening works great, but not TOO much. If your house is on fire, dogs barking, or wife/husband/significant other is yelling at you, you'll know it. 😉😉 Another quick note is that the adjustment for size on it works as it should. I have a bit of a small head and it fits me just fine. Wife wears it fine too. I don't have to adjust it at all for it to fit me and in fact, at the largest size, it would probably fit a giant.. Just sayin. They get to be very large if that's what you're trying to find. Like I said, after 3 years, and I'm now looking for a new headset, just strickly for anesthetics. (Tired of looking at the Mighty Putty haha) But tbh I'm seriously considering just buying the same headset again.

Excellent with a little TLC
Too many negative reviews for these. Just need a little tweaking. Razer synapse 4 has been out for some time and is what you should use to run these headphones with THX Spatial Audio right in the app when the headphones are on and connected to 2.4ghz (not bluetooth) app won't pick them up then. Sound is clear and more robust than the Razer Barracuda X, thougth that is an excellent pair of headphones as well. Bluetooth does not seem to work with some games but does work well with streaming video and music. If you have the Standalone THX Spatial App installed from a previious headphone set, it is not necessary unless you are using bluetooth, (but again has trouble in some games with sounds) I found that not using bluetooth at all (never getting it paired at all works best (no disconnects without bluetooth) tends to want to change to bluetooth if not. Otherwise these sound magnificent on 2.4ghz THX Spatial Game Mode in Games and changing settings in the Razer Synapse 4 app if you are using for streaming video, movies, or music. Hope this helps. Razer makes excellent products, just this one needs just a little TLC to get them to fit your style.

Gives you immense freedom
Can't imagine myself without the freedom and comfort this headset gives. Sturdy but not heavy, doesn't pinch my ears while wearing over glasses or a mask, incredible quality of sound, long-lasting battery (mine goes three days without charging). Looks pretty. What more can you need? Better than my Logitech, Sony, Marshalls, and JBL.

Great headphones
Bought this pair after my last headset was falling apart. Love how long the charge lasts, easy to connect and the quality is great. I don't use the THX sound because I think it sounds better without using it. Very comfortable and sleek looking.

Increíbles!
Increíbles! De las mejores compras en headsets Buena calidad de construcción, súper buen audio, lo único que me gustaría que fuera mejor sería la batería y el multipunto pero me salieron en 1600 entonces no hay queja alguna

These are junk and Razer doesnt cover their product's normal wear.
I've had these for all of 9 months and they are falling apart really badly. I have had to tape the things together... I haven't dropped them or anything and they are literally having pieces fall off. This is hands down the worst headset I've ever owned. Sound Quality is pretty mid and the mic is terrible on top of this. The only thing this headset has going for it is that its wireless. Battery Life is about the same as any other wireless headset. I reached out to Razer about getting it replaced and they said their warranty doesn't cover the product falling apart of its own crap build quality. DO NOT BUY!!!
