Arrived in perfect condition, very easy to install. Dramatically improved our shower. Got it as an open-box bargain, so very pleased with the purchase.

This showerhead is heavy-duty and high-quality. It has no unnecessary settings—just high and low flow—and works like a charm. The ball head swivels, too. It looks like it will last forever!

Feels heavy,( it is all brass), and I expect it to hold up well over time (if not, I’ll come back and edit this review). The water pressure is good, and the functionality of the flow adjustment arm is also good. Looks great with the rest of my chrome bath fixtures. Installation was quick and easy, with no leaks, thanks to the included plumbing tape.

This item is solidly constructed and heavy and easy to install. The flowrate is lower than I wanted but I chose the 1.75 option. If purchasing, beware of its packaging- the first one I bought was packed in a simple thin paper box in a plastic shipping bag. The box opened, the shower head was loose in the bag w no padding, and got damaged. I was able to return it, but the second one arrived the same way - the box came apart, but it was not damaged. The packing is inadequate.

Did I spend over $100 on this? Yes I did and now I'm a believer. By far the most superior shower head I have ever owned. If you bought the 1.75 gpm version, you pretty much have to modify the water restrictor. I say modify and not remove. I took the advice of another reviewer and only removed the rubber o-ring I found around the restrictor valve. That was a huge difference and I wouldn't want it to flow any more than it does now. To me, it's a waterfall at full blast. I don't even have the shower all the way up and I still feel like there is a ton of water coming out. I did not measure the amount before I removed it, but it just wasn't flowing enough to be satsifying. After I removed the o-ring I let a bucket fill up at full blast for one minute and measured 4 gallons. Some people complain the head doesn't move and rotate easily, but mine does. When new, it is pretty stiff (you could easily believe it isn't made to move at all). It took a bit of effort but I gave it a good workout, moving it back and forth and all around for a couple of minutes to loosen it up, and now I don't feel any resistance pointing it around. The Speakman technology is wonderful and can be adjusted quickly and easily to any number of different patterns and effects. Well worth the money.
