I just love it.
Powerful yet relaxing, helps with muscle pain and soreness. I suffer from a lot of stiff neck and upper back pain and this little gadget works great. It's easy to use and I love the fact that it has 36 modes vs. the ones out there with just 24 modes. My hubby uses it for his sciatic pain and loves it. He actually uses it more than I do. I think I'm going to have to get one for myself being that he's taken ownership of it. It's a great value for the price. I definitely recommend 👌.One more thing the pads are very long-lasting but when they get buildup on them, we just lightly rinse them with a little handsoap and water, allow them to air dry and they're good as new.

LOVE LOVE my tens unit
What a lifesaver!! I don’t know how I got along without it! Easy to use, charge life is really good, price is way affordable and IT WORKS! It really does help with tight and/or sore muscles! I like the various settings as there are many to choose from. This sucker really performs well and is durable.

Incredible device (Once you know how to use it)
TENS/EMS devices like this have been around for ages.I'm not a doctor, but here is what I know- about the technology in general, and about this specific deviceThey work by placing electrode pads on either side of your problem points and sending a pattern of electrical signals between them which can cause the nerve(s) to fire and/or the muscles to contract. You don't NEED to talk to a doctor before you get one of these... but I recommend it if you're using it for nerve pain relief (vs muscle soreness from exercise). Your doctor will have the best info on if/how this can help you, and where to put the pads on your body. There are several potential benefits to this:* It can replicate a lot of the benefits of acupuncture and/or massages.* It can relieve aches in sore or injured muscles by releasing lactic acid that builds up in muscle tissue* It can help with certain nerve issues (which is what I use it for... nerve pain is no joke)* It can help with certain types of physical therapy in people with muscle weakness* It can trick your body into releasing endorphins that can relax you or improve your mood.THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE BUYING:* The positioning of the electrode pads can be an art more than a science. You'll pick up on the right spots for yourself with some trial and error, but it's easy to convince yourself it doesn't work well if you don't have the right placement* Hair is the enemy! I'm a really hairy guy. They recommend not using it on hairy areas because if there isn't a good connection to the skin it can cause some unpleasant shocks. If you don't want to shave the spot you need, I've found that some medical tape on top of the pads can go a long way. But OH BABY can it hurt to take off (like a bandaid)* Not only do you need to know the right spots for the electrodes, you need to be able to apply them. It can be difficult to get them on the right spot of your back. You may need another person's help.* There are pre-programmed patterns on the device. The patterns matter. By varying the pulse power and frequency you can get sensations like a gentle buzz, rapid thwacks, ascending pressure, etc. This is great, but there isn't a great way to explain what each pattern is... I kind of think of them like Morse code (like "this program repeats 4 dots then 2 dashes")This means that you have to try all of the patterns and remember which ones you like.It also means that you can't create your own programs (I'm not sure there are any devices that let you do that)THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THIS MODEL:* The build quality is really nice. It's light but it doesn't feel cheap. The buttons have a nice tactile click and feel solid. it's slightly thicker than my iPhone, but much smaller in height and width. It slips into your pocket super easily. The display is bright and clear, and the battery last a long time. I've used it on this same charge right now for over 5 hours and it's still almost full (Mileage may vary by pattern and intensity use)* Super easy to use. You turn it on and then you can do 2 things... cycle through the programs, and choose the intensity (for each side). You can also lock it so you don't accidentally hit a button, and it has a timer cycle that does by 10-minute intervals up to 90, plus "Continuous."* Two outputs! You can plug in two sets of electrodes (at this very moment I've got a set on each shoulder). They are always doing the same program, but you can control the intensity of each side independently)This is great because sometimes you don't get the pad positions exactly the same on each side, so by having one side set to a higher intensity you can compensate for that difference. It also helps with different levels of soreness... my injury is my left shoulder, but that causes me to be a bit tight in my right shoulder. So I don't need nearly as much punch on the right side* Cheap, reusable pads. There are two standard types of electrodes in varying sizes. These are the 2mm pin variety, which I find more reliable than the clasp-on kind. Auvon sells high-quality pads pretty cheaply, but you can also buy from any manufacturer that makes the 2mm varieties. You don't need to buy a bottle of gel for the pads. They stick well and don't leave any sticky residue when you take them off. They can be reused a bunch of times (your mileage may vary). I go through them a bit faster just because I'm hairy. BUT YOU HAVE TO STORE THEM PROPERLY.It comes with a storage pad, but I also picked up a couple extra (search "TENS Unit Pad Holder") because I am always using different sizes. You need to stick them to the storage pad, and seal them bag in the bag to protect from dust. A lot of people also recommend keeping them in the refrigerator after they've been opened.I think that is anything and everything I could possibly say!My only issue is that it's hard to remember how each pattern feels. There is a very mathematical explanation in the manual but the average person will not find it useful. And I wish I could program it with a custom pattern

Works Like A Charm
I bought this mainly for my sciatica on my left leg. Strong voltage, long battery life, easy to setup and the interface is easy to navigate. When it comes to navigating the different programs, you can hold either the M+ or M- and it will jump to the next mode which is quicker, instead of continously pressing the buttons which takes longer. There's also a "memory" feature meaning if you turn off the device on a particular mode, the device will remember which mode you left it on instead of going through the whole button pressing each time when you turn it on again.Overall, this did help me out a great deal with my sciatica.

Does the trick
This is a surprisingly good unit for the money. I do a lot of intense exercising, primarily running and lifting. I’ve used the device on muscles in my legs and back, and it has been very beneficial with treating soreness and strains. It has a a variety of modes and good intensity control. The pads are also high quality. This was a good purchase.

It came full charged.
First day. First device. I've done three 30-min EMS sessions @ 50hz today on different areas. I can only handle half way intensity. Hope it's still effective for toning muscle. It's strong. The battery is still fully charged and the pads are still sticky. Instructions say drop some water on the pads when storing to refresh the sticky.I like it. Might get another one so I can target more areas at once. Also wish it could go up to 200hz, seems the recommended pulse rate for larger areas but I'm just starting and the price was low.I'd be afraid to wear this at the gym or even walking around. Don't want the wires coming apart. I zapped myself a little pushing on in better.

Good TENS unit, but complex.
I purchased this for my Wife, and she is satisfied with it. The unit works well, but a bit too complex for my taste. There are 36 different possible modes, which is a bit of an overkill, in my opinion.

Amazing!
How did I survive four decades without a TENS machine is BEYOND me?! This machine is AMAZING!! I start one mode after another for 10 minutes each and use most of them in one sitting. My pain and discomfort is gone and I am able to sleep on my side again.(I’m a side-sleeper and have been dealing with shoulder pain at night after an injury and wasn’t sleeping well). This machine has a lot of options to try depending on your needs and is POWERFUL. I’m at a lower levels (3-5) and feel the intensity. Definitely the best $30 I’ve spent in a long time. Do yourself a favor and just get it.
