PedalPro Double Rear Bicycle Pannier Bags

I bought these bags to replace a much higher quality item which I lost when my bike was stolen.I think those complaining about the quality of this product need to reflect on what they expect for the price? They may not be superbly waterproof - I've not had them long enough to comment. I've had to mount them as far back as possible on my pannier rack so my heels don't bash the bags when I'm pedalling, and I need to be careful that the back corners can't bend inwards towards the wheel - I plan to fit a little stiffener to stop this happening as a long term solution.Would I use these panniers on a 28-day cycle tour of the Pyrenees? Definitely not.Are they perfectly OK for my daily commute and weekly trip to the chops? Definitely yes.Are they good value for the price? Absolutely.

Won't last for ever but certainly a really good bag for the low price.

Good size and good looking. Not fancy and nothing dangling or flapping about. They occassionally rub on the back of my feet but I just adjust them where they are attached to the rack. Easy to attached and take off due to velcro tabs but not as easy as other more expensive set ups. However, they have a tendency to curl round into the wheel if not loaded carefully. A ridged insert on the inner sides would solve this. These suit my purpose as I did not want to buy expensive panniers with the risk of them being stolen when I leave my bike outside shops. I would recommend definitely buying better ones if you intend cycling any distance or touring. All in all a cheap solution to carrying light things around town and probably not for more serious trips.

This double bag is really good for storage. I use it to ride from home to work, and it carries my Chef Shoes and Knives in the two big compartments.The Medium size compartments that are place in front of the large compartment storage, make good use when I want to store things like my Lights, bag cover (sold separately), repair kit tools (Spanner, Emergency TYRE repair kit and Sat Nav when not in use)The two small compartments I don't use yet, but its there if needed.Overall i rate the bag compatibility for storage 5 STARS. the reason why I rated it 4 stars is the fact that this bike has no bag strap, so I cant carry the bag over my shoulders if I need to pop out to the shops or something. so this really becomes a pain for me and as a result I had to order another bag with a strap so i can use it for outdoor experience, so I use this one for work and the other one with the strap if I tend to pop out to shops or something.

They are fantastic value for money, they fit really well and don't move. I would highly recommend.

Exceeded my expectations for the price. Pretty water resistant, zips seem good and panniers do have some stiffness, giving them support. Have a nice fabric covering so don't look cheap. Plastic inside so any water ingress would have to be through the stitching and zips. But the lids pull down over the zips, protecting them from the elements. If your rack does not provide any support for panniers, probably best to spend more on some with more rigidity.
