Definitely beginner friendly
I was use to sewing by hand, but now I'm all in with this beginner friendly sewing machine. It was easy to setup and use. It makes small repairs and sewing projects qui ck to complete.

Piece of crap!
This is the 2nd machine I'm returning. The first one was a different brand and wouldn't work properly either (similar type machine), so I explored and found this one with mostly good reviews. I should've read the poor reviews because that is exactly what this machine deserves. Before giving this to my granddaughter (the first one I gave her for Christmas and I didn't open it to test it out - it got returned for lack of working- it kept jamming). So this is the replacement I bought. I had it sent to myself so I could test it out before giving to her. I sewed the elastic band inside my pajamas perfectly. It worked like a charm. I decided I would cut up a t-shirt and sew some seams and do some test stitches to give to my granddaughter along with the machine. I did this immediately after sewing the pajamas. I hadn't changed any settings or anything. When trying to sew the tshirt, the thread kept coming out of the needle. I kept rethreading it but then when the thread didn't come out, it would constantly jam and not sew any stitches at all. The needle broke! I tried putting a new needle in that came with the machine. The needle would not go in (flat side to the right as per instructions). I have experience with sewing machines and know how to thread a machine and replace needles. No matter what I did while the screw was loose, the needle would not go into the hole. I guess I'm going to have to spend a little more money so my granddaughter doesn't get disappointed with a crappy machine. DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP! This machine isn't worth a quarter!

Easy to set up and use
I am really REALLY happy with this purchase so far. Although I did not get it for a child I can see where it would be a great starter machine that has some of the features most needed in my opinion. Bobbin winding and reverse being a couple of those features. I am NOT a child in fact I am a senior citizen who has sewed in the past but by no means any kind of professional. I was wanting to modify some night shirts I have to make them longer and thought this might work, and wow does it ever!!! I have done 3 so far and have had no real issues, sometimes there is a lot more material on the right side of the needle that I would like and once it caused me to create a fold lol Removed that easy enough, so just something to watch for. Threading the machine is super easy except of course for the needle old eyes and small needles do not go together well lol. I am trying to find a larger eye needle that will fit this machine so if you know of an option please PLEASE let me know. Bottom line is I would highly recommend this machine for anyone that does occasional sewing. I have mobility issues and the light weight is awesome. Super easy machine to set up and use right out of the box.

Received quickly and was packaged very nicely
Machine seems to work…time will tell. Presser foot is a bit too close to fabric. Wants to bind fabric. 2 stickers stuck to machine, one was covering the measuring face of the machine. Still working at getting that removed. I think machine has been used. Dirty seams in the plastic and some stains that stayed after wiping it down. I hope it will be usable.Came quickly. Nice cover came with machine.

Sewing with Granddaughter
I bought this as a birthday gift for my granddaughter and taught her to sew. She loved it and caught on very quickly and remembered all the steps for starting a stitch, turning corners, remembered to turn the wheel to get the needle in the fabric and close and lift the lever for the foot. It came with a small sewing kit and different colors of threads and bobbins. We bought a pin cushion and pins with colored hearts at the top vs. regular sewing pins. Didn't want to chance small pins that could fall on the floor for her little sister or dog to get if they fell to the floor. I recommend. Her favorite color is purple, so she was excited about that too.

You get what you pay for; maybe.
You get what you pay for. On the surface this looks like a great little machine. Small, lightweight, perfect for lite sewing jobs. However, halfway through my second sewing task (lightweight fabric, only a couple layers thick) a needle broke. It came with replacements. Changed the needle and carried on. Got through my second project and finished my third and had to change my thread to a different colour (it came preloaded with bobbin and everything in white). After changing threads and starting in on my fourth project the thread got bound and then it stopped pulling up the bobbin thread. There is no warranty and you can not even find a website for the manufacturer. So if you don't mind spending whatever the going rate is for this machine and then have to toss it after a few projects go right ahead; but, you might want to buy it on Temu instead because they have it for what it's worth - about $10.
