Interpet Holiday Food Block

Well, all the fish are still alive so it gets 5 stars 😀

We only recently got our fish at the beginning of this year so when we booked a little holiday it was the first time we had to think of feeding them while we were away.I'd heard about feeding blocks so had a look on Amazon and came across this it seemed perfect for what we needed it for.I got it on prime and it was delivered the next day luckly was I had left it to the last minute and we're going away they day after.I put it in straight away to check the water was OK and that the fished were ok with it which they were.We went away for a week and have seven fish 3 goldfish and 4 smaller fish I've forgotten what they are but they were all fine when we returned and they looked happy and most importantly they were all alive!! There wasn't much left of the block when we returned so I'm not sure I'd use it for longer than a week just to be on the safe side. If we go away for longer I would get someone to come in half way through to replace the block still much easier than getting someone in daily to feed them.I would really recommend this it did the job fed the fish, the fish were happy and the water was as clear as before we left.

I was a bit apprehensive about using these in case it wouldn't distribute and my fish would go hungry. I was going on holiday for about 5 days and did not have anyone to feed my fish. The tank is about 40 litres but there are about 20 small fish So I purchased this holiday block which said it would last up til 14 days.... so I put it in the night before I left. When I came back on the 5th day I found that it had disappeared... which meant if I had gone longer it would not have lasted. I am not sure how long it actually lasted but no where near 14 days.... Luckily though I did not have any dead fish and the water seemed clear. So if you're going on holiday for longer than 5 days maybe think about a different product.

Fit for purpose

For my trip it worked well. The fish were happy, the tank was in good condition. However I did have people going in to check and they noticed the feeder had gone by day 8/9 My tank is 80l I have 6 platty and two shrimp I was going away for 10 days.

Went away for over 3 weeks and my beautiful fish was good and healthy when I came back and the water seemed to be clean too so I would purchase again and would recommend to anyone who is thinking of going away and no one to feed your fish 🐟 this is brilliant products and my fish was happy and alive so it’s 👍 from me

I bought this to feed my betta fish when I went on holiday for a week. Nero is in a 22 litre planted tank with heater and filter. I placed it in the tank and immediately it sunk to the bottom and fizzled lots, within an hour or so it stopped fizzing with only the odd bubble rising to the surface. I went away for a week. On my return, Nero was alive and seemed his usual self, the block had reduced in size and the water was sparkling, although there did seem to be more algae, and my plants had thrived, almost doubling in size. I had purchased two automatic feeders, neither were adequate. This did the job, I’d definitely recommend and use again!

Honestly, I have tried a few different holiday food blocks for my tropical fish in the past.But this product is definitely my preferred. Doesn’t completely dissolve, but the tank water stays cleaner than with other fish food blocks.Would recommend you try it for yourself.

I would give it a zero If I can.If you want to mess your tank eco system, then use this product.Before interpet, 5 months tank was perfect. After, 3 out of 8 fish passed away. Fin rot, bacteria, and new little species that lives in tank now. God knows whats in those stars.Get pellets and auto feed next time or you pay the price.
