Good Quality Rubber Soles, Muffles Noise With Lots Of Gripping Power!
I purchased these soles to reduce the noise that the soles on my current pair of boots made and more importantly to stop my boots from sliding around due to the very little amount of rubber my soles had been fitted with. The soles themselves are made out of thick, good quality rubber that have little grooves carved on the bottom that further helps the boots from sliding around and immediately, muffled the very noisy 'tap tap tap' sound that my previous soles had failed to silence! Applying these soles is very easy and did not take very long at all. The glue supplied with these soles is extremely strong and you have to fit them correctly on your first attempt, so make sure you take care when fitting as there is no turning back once they are applied! The instructions that were sent with this product were clear and greatly helped in the fitting process. All in all I would definitely recommend these rubber soles to anyone who wants a quick and permanent fix and doesn't want to fork out for a costly visit to the cobblers! Good product - good value
Very good product and if you follow the instructions end result is excellent. Be aware once stuck together there's no going back so you have to accurate with placement.

Great adhesion
These have worked better than expected. I followed the instruction given on the product (confusingly the supplier also provided instructions which differed a little). I’ve done a lot of miles since the repair and expected at least some of the sole at the edges to start to peel, but they are still completely sound. As good as ones I’ve had done by cobblers.

Check suitability
Unfortunately these stick on soles weren't right for the type of shoes needing repair....no fault of the seller.

Didn’t last very long
Initially excellent. The glue stuck really well and the soles did a good repair. Unfortunately 9 month on and both have work though.

Great
Very easy to use. Tips from someone who's used these a lot: 1. Use the little glue-spreading tool (or some rough sandpaper) to abrade both the surfaces you want to stick together. Texture will help the adhesion and make the soles more long lasting and wet-weather-proof. 2. Apply the glue with an old toothbrush or sponge you're going to throw away. Try for an even coating, and be thorough around the edges. Keep rubbing the glue around until you can feel it start to 'pull' a bit. 3. Don't trim the sole beforehand and then try to line it up when the glue is sticky. Coat the entire rubber sole with glue, and **after waiting for 15 minutes** apply the sole smoothly and firmly, pressing down hard. Don't panic that it will stick to the sides of your shoe - this type of glue sticks only to itself by design). 4. Once you've smoothed out the surface get some rubber bands or hair elastics and wrap them tightly to hold the sole in place while it cures. Leave it overnight and then remove in the morning. 5. Trim with a stanley/craft knife - carefully! Starting on the right side of the shoe, and holding it upright with the toe facing toward you, run the knife along flush with the side of the permanent sole (the one you stuck the new sole to), and 'pull' the blade toward you (down toward the toe and then around the other side). You'll be surprised how easily a craft knife melts through this kind of rubber, so you can get a beautiful clean trim if you move slowly and track the line of the original sole.
