Brilliant
If you do any refrigeration work. These things are absolutely brilliant. I coupled mine up with a low loss valve. So I can attach it to the service valve easily and then screw down so there is little to no loss of refrigerant. But these themselves as it's a small probe screwing on to the service/schrader valve itself shouldnt cause too much loss, unlike having a hose.Connects to my phone/app easily. These are my go to whenever doing refrigerant for checking subcool/superheat. Diagnostic work. Nitrogen pressure testing.Come in the nice little protective case. Never leave these out of my work van. Goes to every job. Can use the temperature probes for other applications in my industry to get the temperature of certain equipment.

Love it
Once I paired it the first time, then turned it off, then on, it wouldn't pair the second time, so you have to swipe away the app, then relaunch it and it works. 3 'blinks' and it pairs, every time, no problems. The distance you can take your phone away before losing connection isn't great, but I still love this thing, best gas gadget for me. I do upto 8 tightness tests a day.

Good product
Being a gas engineer this is very useful but doesn't do anything that your analyser does that you probably already own, does make commission of boilers easier if you do a lot of service/repair work

Looks professional and easy to use
Great when you attach the PDF files it creates and send them to a customer with the other various forms etcLooks really professional and also more accurate than a water manometer

Very Useful
We use these when checking heating circuit flow and return temperatures to ensure correct balancing of the heating circuit either UFH or Rads. Now forms part of the CP1 Heat Networks recomendations.

Good option to monitor temperature trends, watch out for emissivity
I bought this to monitor how quickly electronic products heat up with usage. Keep in mind infrared readings vary tremendously based on what surface, and shiny metallic surfaces are way off if you don't adjust the emissivity coefficient. Test also makes a contact thermistor probe, the 115i, that can be a better fit. That said, this probe is relatively inexpensive for a quality instrument (I don't trust the no-name Chinese junk, even if this is also made in China for a German company). The ability to measure trends using the smartphone app is very valuable, and would cost two arms and a leg with Fluke.

Super easy to use
Very quick to set up, giving accurate temperature readings. Giving you the freedom to do stuff whilst having the readings in front of you.

Quality and accurate testing probe!
The media could not be loaded. Testo 405i Smart probe arrived on time, and help me to verify all air flow values in my recently installed Panasonic ERV, ventilation system, air dumpers flow, and help me to make some adjustment if required. Compatible APP easy to install on my iPhone, and reading options, and recording reading making overview more conclusive to monitoring and making changes. Pairing with iPhone goes faster if you are opening the app first and after switching on the Testo probe. Quality device, accurate and easy to operate. I am happy with my purchasing choice, and highly recommend this device!

Simple, solid, does the job
Connects instantly to bluetooth at the press of the on button. Gives you temp & fpm flow continuously on a phone app. Nice telescoping probe. Compact quality tool. Used it for many hours so far on the original battery.

Great product, however, you never get a notice when they update their software app
I do a lot of R&D work and diagnostics in regards to air flow, and found this meter to be an invaluable asset. When my app stopped working, I logged onto their website, hit up the chat, spoke to a CSR, and he pointed me to the updated app. I just wish there was a notice of an update, on the app itself, like so many others do. That's my only gripe. The meter itself has been wonderful, and accurate every time I've used it. I've owned it for over a year now and it still works as good as day 1 in my hands. The only suggestion I'd make to Testo, is to consider putting a lanyard hole, on the body of the meter. That way, a technician on a ladder, can have it tethered to his bags, and if they fumble it while trying to get a reading, it doesn't smash on the floor below..Another suggestion, instead of making the cover, something you remove, why not make it where a tech can use one thumb to slide the cover up, to expose the vane impeller, with a quick release button (you can use your thumb with) to slide it back down. I've been lucky that I do mostly bench testing, but can imagine how easy it'd be to drop and lose the cover, if 8 to 16ft in the air, on a ladder.
