Easy set up
Great product. A bit heavy, but easy to set up with free falling kick stands.

Works great in conjunction with the Goal Zero 1000W Power Station
Bought this mainly for emergency use, but also occasional offgrid needs. First test was to hook it up to the power station and run a RecTeq Bullseye wood pellet smoker/grill. Using the two together, was able to get a net positive charge while running the smoker (in other words, it was charging faster than the smoker was drawing power). This was on a mostly sunny/partly cloudy day, with a little bit of shade on the panel. Granted, the power station and solar panel are brand new, but they seem pretty solid and well built. So far it seems like a good investment. My only constructive criticism so far is I wish the cord from the solar panel to the power station was a couple of feet longer - I'm guessing it's about 4-5 feet, an 8 foot cord would be really handy, but it's not a deal breaker.

Pricey, heavy, but durable and works well
Works well. Heavy, but durable. Generally provides about half to 2/3 of rated output.

Heavy at 42 pounds (for me). Well built, Make sure you have correct cables/adapter to work with Non-Goal Zero Solar Genererato
Boulder 200 Briefcase. Very Heavy at 42 pounds (for me). Well built, so far, got it yesterday With the Adapter Cable from Goal Zero connecting Boulder 200 to MC4 I am able to charge various non-GoalZero "solar generators" including but not limited to Suaoki 400 WH and Suaoki G500 and EasyFocus 288 WH units. This morning I got 139 Watts...9.something AMPS and it was not yet in direct FULL sun. It charged my solar generators very quickly which is why I got it. Goal Zero case (fabric) came with a small hole in it and Goal; Zero offered a free replacement. UPDATE: On an overcast day, today, I get 20 or so Watts/1.9X AMPS ! I suggested to Goal Zero that they RE-DESIGN their case with the handle at the BOTTOM and all around zipper. Therefore making it MUCH easier to get the Boulder 200 into the case without lifting 42 pounds high enough to get into the case as it is presently designed. With my concept for the case, you simply open the case and slip it OVER the Boulder 200 and then zip it all up, so the handle is then on top and no light or other lifting is required. I'll update this review if necessary. I have PTSD from my military service and for whatever reason I am OCD about losing power. I also have several 60W and 100W FOLDING, light weight (6 pounds or less from Allpowers and Suaoki) but they obviously don't put out the AMPS that the Boulder 200 does. I recommend this.

Get what you pay for.
Crazy expensive but bought on sale to cushion the blow. Excellent product (solid 5), but the price gives this a 3.5 rating.

Heavy, but does great.
Works good, but heavy, about 40 pounds. the glass will be towards the outside when folded and no padding in the bag to help protect it and recommend help in putting the bag back on. I used it with my solar generator and done well with the light load I had on it.

Easy to set up & use
We have a Goal Zero battery generator with two solar panels already. Got this one to supplement input versus output based on a recent power outage. It, like the others, is quick to set up and connect to the “splitter” plug we already have. To put it back in the storage bag it is easier to pull the bag down from the top rather than pull the bag up from the bottom. Duh!

Very expensive
Item arrived far in advance of estimate. Packaging damaged on arrival, and completely open down one side. Waited three days until I had time to test it. Works fine. Cloudy day, April 7th, but is generating over 20v at 10am. Good tip from previous reviewer abount inserting the polystyrene packaging to protect the panels in the briefcase.

Battery connection plug
Good packaging, good carrying case. Didn’t like the anderson plug. Had to buy a connector to the battery pack.

Well constructed and efficient
Awesome quality but very poor leg design and well above average price for comparable products ! ..Some might wonder if I like Goal Zero and I do ! ...But !!! ..Some might wonder also if Goal Zero's right hand move's in parallel with their left hand !.. The glass panel itself is top notch as is the sturdy encasing ! ..The legs ????...Oooh ! ..Turn this panel upside down with the legs sticking up and you have created an effective determent for invading armies to become impaled rofl..Why is this important ???.. Its important because the panel is so heavy that once you unfold you end up dragging it into your optimal position at the same time dragging all the dirt, debris, cats, dog's, humans and anything else these sharp angled legs can catch along their way *grin !.. Make the legs more user friendly, drop the price by about 100 dollars and I will up my stars !..Otherwise !...Shopper's !..Check out the Renogy briefcase's, they have solved the leg designs, the pricing and best of all they adapt to nearly every Solar generator's wattage input ! ..Sincerely, Eric
