Bulk Matcha Green Tea Powder, 500 g

Got this on sale for only £14, but I definitely think it’s worth full price! I struggle a lot with low energy, requiring more sleep than the average person and regular naps. Now I start my mornings with a matcha latte, and I can immediately feel a boost in energy, it increases my capacity for the day, I’m much more alert with higher energy levels. I personally love the taste especially mixed with some bulk vanilla syrup. It’s such a large quantity that this bag will last you for more than 6 months, so it’s definitely worth the price! Only thing is I do think I’m starting to build a tolerance for it as I’m starting to feel more lethargic again after a couple months of regular use, but I’m sure it’s nothing that a little break won’t fix, and I’m definitely not as tired as I was before I started taking bulk matcha anyway. Well worth a try!

Not the brightest green matcha I've had or seen, but for the money is very good value - twice the amount for the same price as the next best matcha Green Tea. Flavour is okay, but is masked within juice and other supplements anyway, quality was good and the health and caffeine benefits are there to see (and feel!).

genuinely disgusting, tastes like washing up liquid. its cheap, nasty and clearly very poor quality matcha. cant believe stuff like this is allowed to be sold on amazon.

More than matcha this is just green tea powder. the taste is quite harsh, not like the good matcha. But it may be fien for cooking or smoothies.

Value for money, good matcha tea.

Comparing with two other matcha products this one seems to be just a low quality tea powder of unknown origin, but definitely not a pure classical matcha. Its smell, flavour and colour don't match with the original.

Great price and quality

I was a bit dubious when I read the reviews but it’s absolutely fine. My partner was happy with the flavour and I was delighted with the amount and the price. Will definitely buy again. I didn’t know how to mix it without lumps so I put it in my smoothie maker with a little hot water, then topped it up with almond milk. It was perfect.

J'ai hésité à l'acheter et me voilà surprise. Je le trouve bien meilleur que ceux achetés plus chers. Pas de goût amer et agréable.

Bien sûr on va pas le comparer un vrai matcha mais ça passe quand on est amoureux du matcha. J'ai bien sûr acheter mon matcha de bonne qualité mais c'est cher et ses petites quantité, et à côté j'ai ce matcha qui est bien terme mais ça fait l'affaire pour les préparations et pour le boire chaud, en fait c'est une bonne quantité. 500 g à petit prix pour tous les jours avec un peu de vanille sirop et du lait ça passe très bien

Good for the value, matcha is usually very expensive and the caffeine amount in it helps me a lot. Just not the best, you know? Just making tea with it is kinda unpleasent.

Ho voluto provare il tè matcha di Bulk spinto un po' dalla curiosità per questa bevanda tanto decantata per le sue proprietà e un po' attirato dal prezzo, che devo dire su Amazon è spesso competitivo rispetto ad altri marchi più blasonati, specialmente prendendo i formati più grandi. Cercavo un matcha da usare un po' a tutto tondo: da bere la mattina per darmi una sferzata di energia, da aggiungere ai frullati, magari da usare anche per qualche ricetta. Primo impatto e preparazione: Il pacchetto è arrivato ben sigillato. Appena aperto, il colore della polvere mi è sembrato subito un bel verde brillante e intenso, il che è un buon segno per il matcha (un colore spento di solito indica una qualità inferiore). L'odore è vegetale, un po' erbaceo, tipico del matcha. La preparazione è abbastanza semplice. Io non sono un purista e non ho tutti gli accessori tradizionali (frustino di bambù, ciotola apposita), ma mi arrangio con un piccolo sbattitore elettrico per evitare grumi. Si scioglie abbastanza bene, anche solo con un cucchiaino e un po' d'acqua calda (non bollente, mi raccomando!). Il gusto: questione di aspettative e utilizzo Veniamo al punto cruciale: il gusto. Ho letto pareri discordanti su questo matcha e capisco perché. Se siete abituati a matcha di grado cerimoniale purissimo, molto delicati e dolciastri, questo di Bulk potrebbe risultare un po' più amaro e con un sapore vegetale più pronunciato. Sinceramente, non lo definirei "amaro" in senso negativo, ma ha quel suo retrogusto caratteristico che per alcuni potrebbe essere forte. Io lo trovo perfetto per essere miscelato. Nel mio latte vegetale caldo al mattino (Matcha Latte!) con un po' di dolcificante o miele è fantastico e mi dà la carica giusta per iniziare la giornata senza i picchi e i crolli del caffè. Nei frullati si amalgama benissimo e aggiunge quel tocco erbaceo e un bel colore verde acceso. L'ho provato anche in qualche torta e dolcetto, e anche lì si comporta bene. Energia e benefici percepiti: Per quanto riguarda l'effetto energizzante, devo dire che funziona! Mi sento più sveglio e concentrato dopo averlo bevuto, un'energia più "pulita" e duratura rispetto al caffè. So che il matcha è ricco di antiossidanti e altri benefici, e anche se non posso valutarli scientificamente, l'idea di bere qualcosa di così salutare mi fa stare bene. Alcuni dicono che aiuti anche la digestione o la pelle, e forse un leggero miglioramento l'ho notato, ma è difficile dire se dipenda solo da questo. Rapporto qualità-prezzo: Secondo me, il punto forte di questo prodotto è proprio il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Se cercate un matcha di altissima gamma per la cerimonia del tè, forse dovreste orientarvi su altri prodotti. Ma se volete un buon matcha per l'uso quotidiano, per i vostri latti, frullati e ricette, quello di Bulk è un'ottima scelta che non vi svuota il portafoglio. La confezione grande dura parecchio. In sintesi: Pro: * Bel colore verde intenso. * Si scioglie abbastanza facilmente. * Ottimo per Matcha Latte, frullati e ricette. * Dà una buona carica di energia duratura. * Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, specialmente per i formati convenienza. Contro: * Il gusto può essere un po' più intenso e vegetale rispetto a matcha cerimoniali. * Non è specificato chiaramente il grado di qualità (sembra un buon grado culinario). Lo consiglio? Assolutamente sì! Se siete curiosi di provare il matcha, o se cercate un'alternativa al caffè che vi dia energia e benefici senza spendere una fortuna, il tè matcha di Bulk è secondo me un'ottima opzione. È versatile, efficace per dare la carica e ha un prezzo onesto. Non aspettatevi un matcha da cerimonia sopraffina, ma per l'uso quotidiano e in cucina è promosso a pieni voti!
