So Good!
I have been looking forward to Kip’s story from the first book. He is everything I love in a character, snarky, prickly, witty, takes no prisoners, a little spitfire. Who knew he was hiding so many insecurities under his armour. For two years the rivalry between Kip and the tattooist in the building next door has spiralled although to be fair to Leon the resentment seems to come from the snarky Kip. In this book we find out the back story and why Kip seems to hate Leon so much. It all boils down to Leon rejecting a drunk Kip’s advances at a party and embarrassing him. We find out that Kip has an unforgiving side and can really hold a grudge. When Rhys suggests that Leon move into Alec and Hunter’s apartment above the shop while he is waiting to move into his new house and they will be away for a few weeks, they agree and Leon jumped at the chance to live comfortably and sleep in a proper bed. The only person who was not pleased was Kip!These two men were perfect for each other. Leon very wisely played the long game and his tenacity was admirable. Little by little he chipped away at Kip’s animosity and defences and we got to know the real Chris as Leon always called him. These two men were both hiding secrets and had terrible things happen to them in the past but the author as usual handled the issues with compassion. There was so much humour to counterbalance the emotion and Jay always gives us supporting characters with depth and of course most of the characters we had met and loved in the previous books. I think Drew shined in this book and he had some of the funniest lines. It was lovely to see him growing in confidence and often going toe to toe with Kip.The chemistry between Chris and Leon was off the charts and hadn’t gone unnoticed by all their friends who were relieved when they finally got together. I loved this book, it captured me from start to finish and was really enjoyable.

So good.
Leon is the tatoo artist and Kip aka Chris is the manager of Flares the fashion boutique. Both guy's have met before but Leon turned down Kip's offer of a sexy night stating he was done with one night stands. This stung Kip so moving on 2 years and they meet again as both businesses are next to each other and they are both still interested but with the same mindset. They both sizzle when together so holding out is futile. When they finally give in its hot, hot, hot. However as they learn about each other they fall a little bit harder accepting each others emotions and fully supporting each other. Working through their traumas and finding the light to be all in.

Enemies to lovers with heart and humour
This was the first book I've read in this series but I didn't find that impacted my enjoyment at all. The sort-of-enemies to lovers aspect was well handled and I think most of us could relate to Kip's reasoning. Both Kip and Leon were engaging characters and I found the side characters interesting enough to go back and read their books in the future. The story had plenty of sass, as the title suggests, but there were also some pretty serious and complex issues explored, as well as a few touching and heartbreaking moments. There are some difficult subjects covered, so may be an issue for people with triggers.I wouldn't class it as light-hearted, but if you're in the mood for some depth with a really great resolution, this book is a solid choice. Once we get the initial misunderstandings out of the way, there's relatively little angst between the main characters, and I enjoyed seeing them work together and communicate to deal with their issues. On the whole, a great read!

Once Is Not Enough.
MM, Contemporary, Romance. The third book in the series and it would read well as a stand-alone although characters are also mentioned/featured in other books in the series. Easy to read page-turner with great characters, lots of heat and some angst. A great read with a guaranteed HEA.

Just gorgeous
I love all Jay Hogan's books but the Style series has been fantastic and this was such a great read. As always, characters are so well developed and real, the story is engaging, and the supporting characters are never afterthoughts. I welled up at four separate points and my heart was bursting by the ending. You won't regret giving this a try (and yes, ofc, their chemistry is off the charts good).

Good read
Kip has been a thorn in Leon’s side since they met. Even when the chemistry between them is intense, he refused to give into their connection knowing that Kip is a playboy. When that passion ignites between them they are unable to keep their hands off each other. Will Leon be able to tame the playboy who had sworn off love?

Epic love
Oh, I loved this book!!!! Such great characters and a beautiful love story. No one does sweet, hot and snarky characters as well as Jay, nor as amazing friend circles. Fantastic read. Nearly as epically good as Cam and Reuben.

I don't want it to end
Kip/Chris has been such an important part of this whole series and I love seeing him get his HEA with Leon. I am a big believer in "chosen family" and this series is all about that. I will really miss these characters.

Fav book of the month
I knew Kip’s story was going to be fabulous. After meeting him in Flare, I was excited for his story and it didn’t disappoint. Feisty, sassy, strong, but that confidence comes with a side of vulnerability. A vulnerability that is sweet and makes you want to protect him from those who hurt him. Those who turned their backs on him when they should have been the ones to protect him. In comes Leon who allows him to be both vulnerable and strong (and stay sassy)And Drew? He needs his own story 💕

best of the series
I LOVED this! It all just really worked for me. I have zero complaints. Definitely my favourite book in this series. I’ve been looking forward to Kip’s book since the beginning and he didn’t disappoint. Leon is a lovely character too. Their connection felt so genuine and I just couldn’t put this down. There was just enough input from the other characters in the series without it being annoying and I liked all the side characters. I’m interested in Drew’s story and wonder if that will come next.

A gem
This book is for me the jewel in the crown of the Style series. All three books are brilliant but this last one tops it for me. The character of Kip showed a lot of promise in the first two books and man, did he deliver! I loved how Leon found his Kip without too much drama and misunderstanding, but rather how they took each other's hand and started to grow individually and together. The theme of found family over blood relations is worked beautifully in this book. Also the absolute individuality of dealing with grief. I don't often cry over a book but I did with this one. Seven stars out of five!

A must read for fans of a HEA
I have read every Jay Hogan book and this one is just beautiful. Two people who have been hurt by life in different ways who come together and have to take the risk that it will work.Jay has a way with words and her descriptive writing made me laugh and cry. And who doesn't love a heartfelt happy ever after.
