Wonderful Series of Books
Beautifully written by Julia Donaldson & illustrated by Lydia Monks. This one of a series of wonderful books which my Grandson loves and I love reading to him. He loved getting to know all the characters especially Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len!

Great book
Bought this for my daughter(who is 3 years old) who I read to every night before bedtime. My daughter has a big range of books, but time and time again she chooses this book, she loves it. She likes to hear about the two naughty robbers, and the book is in no way scary at all. Highly recommend,

Hugh and Len foiled again?
Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len are two bad men with another cunning plan. This is a sequel but has the right amount of new story and familiarity from the first. Lydia Monks' animation, with added glitter, is bright and fun and full of detail. I could probably find my way round that farm without ending up in the duck pond.Julia Donaldson is at her finest with the storytelling, lovely and funny rhymes. This is a sequel but easy enough to read without having read the first. That said, read the first!I'm hoping Len & Hugh can stage another comeback but they aren't the best criminals so who knows where they'll end up?

Great little read
Julia Donaldson does it again! As with the previous book we absolutely love this story, its a fantastic read that children can easily engage with. I like the fact that we could link the two stories in with each other and my little boy was excited to see what happened next, he really thought how the thieves were captured was hilarious. Again the illustrations are beautiful.

Good book of fun silliness for the kids
This is a really nice book full of wonderful illustrations and silly enough to keep a childs attention. Its all about the farm and kids are able to identify farm animals, what happens next and read along with the story. They are able to identify what noises each animal makes and there is a nice silly end to the story that means the kids want to go back and read again. All in all a very fun book.

Cute story and nice book. Great for young children learning animal sounds and older children learning how to problem solve.

Good story, nice rhyme scheme
I read this to my son at bed time. He loves it so much, he would carry the book around the house in the day. Interesting story.

One more time !
Julia Donaldson does not disappoint. Can a sequel keep getting better ? I never though so, until I picked up the Ladybird series. This is the second one in the series, and just amazing. The animals on the farm, the farmer and of course the ladybird does not disappoint. The rhyme is catchy and the illustrations beautiful. The subtle messaging in the book makes it fun for the parents as well. And yes, this is one is ‘glittery’ ! My 5-year old adores the series. It’s a wonderful book for a 4+ kid.

fumetto
bellissimo. Sapientemente studiato. Utile per bambini che hanno genitori che possono leggere il libro in Inglese. Non so per gli altri.
