Mushroom House Dried Mushrooms, Porcini, 5 Ounce

This product is great for having on had. The quality is excellent. What I purchase from the local store, is 5 times the cost of the entire bottle. Such a savings.

Full of larva aka maggots .....soaked in hot water and began making my risotto and when I started to use the mushroom broth I noticed small white worms all I’ve the bottom of my bowl.......for thirty dollars you’d think that you would not be eating maggots. By at your own risk.....also read the fine print...talks of French and Italian porcini but us from the PRC (China)

Great porcini taste that I always have on hand. I like to grind them in my spice mill into a powder which I use to thicken stews and sauces. It raises the flavor to a new level. I highly recommend these dried mushrooms

I used this in a pasta dish and the mushrooms were so gritty we couldn’t eat it. I would never buy them again and would return them if I could.

For the price and quantity you would not expect at all a Made in China mushrooms ... should have clearly stated in the AD. So sad.
