They are oil based
I didn't know the difference, but these are basically oil. It doesn't really dry up, you cant put black on white, it just blendto grey. It's a pain to remove from your face and from the brushes.I mean, this is supposed to be for amateurs, not sure how someone without prior knowledge could use them.I did buy water-based paint and it was way way easier.
