What a great printer, 10/10 HP & super cheap ink online
So happy I picked the HP 7110 over the way more expensive 7720/30/40I spent a full day reading reviews as i held back spending loads of money on my last HP officejet 3835 that was exceptional value for the £39 price tag and wow'd me with it's totally unplugged mode using Bluetooth.I read some absolute pathetic reasons why some would give this cool looking printer such a low score. It came out of the box with ease, installed the ink cartridges with the most ease of any printer and I have been through many as a graphic designer / screen printer for 40 years. I plugged in the power cable in to the machine and on came a green light. I got the HP smart app and had the printer connected to bluetooth and magically worked if you follow straightforward instructions.Print quality is excellent, it runs nice and quiet and has a huge flatbed paper feed up to A3+.It doesn't have a scanner, Good, it doesn't have a photocopier, Good it's a printer, I wanted a printer.£113 well spent and the replacement inks are really cheap if you don't buy HP ink.A full 5 stars don't believe how it could get any bad reviewsl

DON'T BUY THIS PRINTER
Don't Buy this printer. It began to malfunction as soon as I started trying to use it, with the motor running continually and the carriage going back and forwards, without printing. The seller, Printerland, weren't interested, and referred me to HP. HP has since sent me two replacements, with each of them having the same fault.A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.

Printhead failure
It's a good printer at a good price, but beware there are issues with the printhead and it is likely to fail within the statutory 12 months warranty period. Also beware that online retailers may try to claim a reduced warranty period of only one month from when it was purchased. This is incorrect and if this fault occurs and the tests that HP get you to carry out prove that it is defective, they will replace it FOC and will also take away the faulty printer if the failure is within 12 months of the date of purchase. This whole scenario is a classic case of "buyer beware" and don't always believe what the online retailer is telling you, as clients we have rights and goods have to be fit for purpose. HP know that they have issues with this printer as do the online retailers!

good value, easy to use, good quality printing
printer was pretty easy to set up - first time powering up takes a fair while as the printer sets up the print head and runs its tests - but as long as you follow the set up instructions and let the printer set itself up - there are no problems. I have run a few test photo prints through it, and on high quality media the photo quality is pretty impressive, very close to the quality of my fairly pricy Epson 6 ink photo printer. paper tray is easy to use and printer sits more compact on the work surface than the top fed Cannon A3+ printer it replaces.

Great value for money A3 printer
Large format equates to large footprint and quite heavy. However produces excellent quality A3+ prints on a wide variety of photo papers and thicknesses. Excellent quality printer for home use and great value for money. Even got a free guarantee extension to 3 years from HP. More than happy with my purchase.

Software issue.
There is a reason why this A3 plus printer is cheap. It’s an old model.None of the HP software works with a Mac. You can print though via AirPrint but all HP software has to be removed. This is a big beast. To facilitate the A3 paper the paper tray takes A4 in Landscape so this makes the printer wider than just and A4 printer. With the A3 paper in the tray you need a the 6 inches in front of the tray as it sits further out.The print quality is quite good.

Supplier Service and Price were excellent!
You need to know what you are doing to get this set up and working. Unimpressed with paper documentation, and the fact that there are only 'set up' ink cartridges supplied. You get a 13A lead and a US one, but not a USB or Cat5 lead. Supplier Service and Price were excellent!

Printer no good to me
I ordered the printer specifically to run on an old lap top that required an installation disk - ie no wireless connection. There is no possibility of getting an installation disk and the printer is of no use to me
