I experience a lot of power cuts in bad weather, despite electrical engineers frequently "fixing" the problem. Every time they say it's something different going wrong. As such, I frequently had to reset the time, radio station and alarm on my previous mains powered clock. And power cuts at night meant my alarm just didn't go off in the morning. It got so frustrating I don't use it anymore, despite liking some nice features. This is easy to set up, you just press a button to turn on and it'll sort itself out. Initial set up failed as something interfered, so I put it in the windowsill and recalibrated as per instructions. It can take about 8 mins to calibrate so be patient. Everything was correct (date, month, temperature) and the time was accurate. It's a good size but as you'd expect it's easy to knock over. The stand on the bottom is just hard plastic, no grippy rubber. The time is plenty clear enough for me, if you have bad eyesight it might not be clear enough as it is a little blurry and due to the display the text can't be seen from all angles. The backlight is blue and gives even lighting. It calibrates itself overnight every day. Not sure how good the battery life will be but I think it will be good enough. You can only set one alarm at a time with no presets and only one sound (traditional alarm sound). I personally don't intend on using this as I have a much more gentle alarm on my watch. It seems easy to set and the screen shows if the alarm is set on or off. I assume it works as intended. Main downside is it looks pretty cheap as you'd expect. But everything works and it feels durable enough. Mine has lots of small scuff marks around the front border obviously caused during manufacturing. sacrifices have to be made at this price but it's not too obvious unless you pick it up. It comes with a 2 year warranty which is handy. This is very good value for money. To be honest I'd be happy to pay £5 more for better overall quality, 2 different alarms, possibly different alarm sounds, and grippy rubber feet on the bottom. But as it stands, a good cheap but reliable clock. Great if you're looking for something basic and easy to use without spending much money on it. I would like an upgraded version of this to be made just to make it a bit better without being too expensive

This is an excellent little clock. It is designed to use the UK National Time signal to set and adjust the time shown as appropriate. You must take note of the instructions, and there are many other sources on-line, to set up the clock. The UK National Time signal is from a transmitter somewhere where near the English Lake District in Cumbria, so if like me living on the South Coast, where the signal is weaker, it is recommended to place the clock on a window ledge facing the signal transmitter (North for me) and it worked for me. Just recently it changed automatically to British Summer Time. Be patient, because it is 2am when the signal is synced. I can recommend this clock 🙂

What a pity. It's a neat little clock and works as one in manual mode. Unfortunately after several days of trying it has failed to receive a signal, and is not acting as a radio controlled clock. I've tried leaving it overnight, removing the batteries and trying again. I've placed it near different aspect windows but still no joy. I've tried pressing the wave button too.

The perfect edition for any room in the house hold. Very easy to use with great brightness and appearance.

Je n'ai pas aimé le fait qu'il n'ai que le fuseau horaire de la Grande Bretagne. A chaque foi il se dérègle pour se mettre à l'heure anglaise. C'est très embêtant lorsqu'on habite en France.

I got it bec I wanted a RADIO CONTROLLED clock with backlight. U can only have the light when u press the button. It doesn’t work the whole time. I gave it 2 not one bec it’s size is practical to put it on ur office and ur next to bed

Non viene specificato che riceve il segnale inglese per l'impostazione dell'ora e non ti permette di cambiare fuso orario. Ha la possibilità di rimuovere l'opzione per aggiornare l'ora ma non so perché finisce di funzionare di notte, puntualmente ogni mattina ti ritrovi con l'ora cambiata... HO RIMEDIATO TOGLIENDO L'ANTENNA CHE C'È ALL'INTERNO 😉😉😉

En ningún sitio ponía que recibe la señal inglesa para el radio control por lo que se pone cuando conecta siempre una hora menos que en la España peninsular. Si eres de Canarias sí que te viene bien pero no te permite cambiar de uso horario, por eso le pongo baja calificación. También tiene la posibilidad de quitar la opción de actualizar la hora, no sé por qué al final acaba cambiando por la noche, de hecho ya me he despertado un dia tarde por el reloj.

Habitant en France, j'ai positionné manuellement ce réveil sur l'horaire d'été ... Oh surprise, le lendemain matin, le réveil avait perdu 1 heure se trouvant à l'heure d'hiver ! En recherchant sur internet j'ai traduit un message en anglais qui précisait cela : "l'horloge se met également à jour automatiquement à l'heure standard britannique par signal radio". Ce réveil ne correspond donc pas du tout à un acheteur n'ayant pas le même fuseau horaire que l'Angleterre. Très, très déçu par le site qui ne le précise pas.
