Good price for a solid product
I am happy with this purchase. Appears to be strong and robust. Has and a digital code locking /unlocking system and keys in case you forget the number or the battery dies. There are bolts to secure the safe to a solid surface eg. The floor or cupboard shelf. I haven’t actually used the safe yet but will be needing to in the next few months so it it packed up in the box.

House safe.
Seems to be a very good safe.strong and easy to use.my only concern is should there be a cover over the red button on back of door.or is it missing.with out a cover the code might get Pushed axadently..

Yale for me is one of the leading safe/lock brands so you can imagine my disappointment when I purchased the safe and found it to be internally damaged. Now I am a fair reviewer and have allowed Yale to respond and although Amazon has replaced the item no feedback is ever given as to the cause as the damage and I feel that over the last couple of years the build quality of their products have slowly been declining (the last 5 or 6 Yale product purchases I have had to return 2 of them). So back to the product, the new replaced safe is good, sturdy and easy to use. I like the ability to have 2 passcodes and also hide the entry code as it is being inputted. The negatives are... even though this is my replacement you can see the paint pealing from some corners (1 of the reasons I replaced the safe in the first place), my original safe had internal damage to the plastic black cover, I guess the screws were overtightened so much that they snapped through the case and also the main front panel was not secured properly and could move by a couple of mm. So overall although I have stuck with Yale products I will shop around more next time I need something.

Could not open the safe
It arrived in a beat up box suggesting it might have been returned before. In order to open the safe a key is needed and this simply didn't work. The whole thing was shabbier than I expected. Given Yale is such a well known brand this was a surprise. I'm guessing they decided to go down-market at some point in their recent history.
