PMS 31 PC COOKIE/CAKE DECORATING SET IN PVC CTD BOX/36PC FSD

I paid less than £5 for this and I am very pleased with the results. Super easy to use. Just put some ready made frosting in the cannister (just dollup in with a spoon) and placed a pattern on the end and in seconds had perfect frosting patterns on my cake that looked professional. I've never gotten on with piping bags...found they squirt out too much or too litte, inconsistant patterns, and messy. This is clean, accurate with a easy pump, and all you do to clean it is run hot water on it and down the cylinder until clear and set to dry. This is a real boost to my decorating skills. Would recommend to anyone.

I bought this item for the cookie aspect of it, I have also purchased a cake decorating kit, that uses bags, I did try to use this for frosting cupcakes but found the plunger a little awkward to use, in all fairness to the the product though, I think that's me and nothing to do with the product. It's a shame really because the nozzles are perfect for frosting cupcakes, like I said I am certain it's user error. At the risk of sounding stupid, my brain can't plunge and turn the cupcake, that said I can't tap my head and rub my tummy at the same time either. My only gripe with this item is that you can't get very much of your mix in it in one go. Only managing to frost three cupcakes at a time... Apart from that I am very pleased with the item.

The kit is fine for basic cake decorating. It is not top quality. But for the price a really useful addition. Comes with loads great accessories and easy to use. The actual pump part is not very sturdy. But as I said for basic decorating its quite efficient.

I was unsure about this item because of the low price, but I was pleasantly surprised! I make many cakes, including large, tiered occasion cakes as well as cupcakes, and this item has proven fab! Yes, it is a small size so needs refilling, as others have said- but that is not a problem at all, and is far better than being bigger and bulkier! I normally buy much more expensive equipment and am usually disappointed. From now on I won't be! Highly recommend to anyone, from beginners to professionals.

This product is great, especially for little hands. We used it with a butter-cream (not icing) and it worked very well. You have to remember, this is for fun and not professional icing, so don't expect perfection. The product is easy clean and you are supplied with a large selection of nozzles and discs.

This would probably be ok for kids but not for anyone serious about baking / decorating, even a beginner. The nozzles are very poorly cut with ragged edges and random bits of plastic sticking out. It is cheap and flimsy and mine came in a weird pinkish colour. I would not recommend this product unless its purely to have fun baking with kids.

i would say its ok but i think its not made to decorate cakes and cupcakes with icing and it either slows out too quickly or the icing is too hard to push out! i tried different consistencies and it didnt really work, but its great for kids :)

The first time I used this gadget, I made 7 cupcakes... Yes 7...The spring came loose at the end of my piping session. I thought I would be able to fix back into position on my next icing challengeNope.... I tried again today seemed fine until the spring popped out again!Aarrgh! I cant be dealing with this!I couldn't even press the lever to ice the cakes...I tried to improvise using the the top plunger...Oh nooooo....... Plop !!! butter cream everywhere ... the piping attachment flew off. I wasn't able control the pressure from the just the top plunger. Obviously....Desperate needs desperate measures lol.Haven't decorated no more than 7 cupcakes.....I would've had to abandon icing my cupcakes If It wasn't for my good ol' palate knifeI will be asking for a refundAnyway I shouldn't complaint as the say ... you get what you pay forThis product Is a waste of money I'ts similar to 99p shop merchandise Crap
