Good product
Works as it should and kept a 110ah AGM battery toped up with a 200w panel in heavy cloud for a week, brilliant.

Works Well, Confusing Keypad, BIG!
I have recently heavily invested in a D-I-Y solar setup due to the ever increasing energy costs. Initially i went for the all in one solution with a true solar generator. Just recently however i needed to replace my car batteries and decided rather than throw out the older ones i would look to purchase a charge controller and inverter and try and make use of them. I have a 600w fixed array so i needed a decent amperage controller, the 40amp one seemed ideal. Having done a ton of research i really wanted to purchase a Victron controller but they are super expensive and currently out of my budget. As a result i decided to go for this Renology. My set up is parallel only so my voltage is way under what this controller can handle. At this time i have only connected this controller to a single 200w panel for testing. The charge controller is huge! It also has a good weight to it. The instructions aren't great if i am being honest and i did find the on screen menu display very confusing, as are the button pushes to cycle through the menus. Having also purchased the BT1 Bluetooth model i found the controller much easier to set up/monitor in the DC Home App. I have an AGM battery and the instructions advise setting this as SLD, however what i found was that the charging voltage was not enough and the battery rarely got about 75%, long term this could damage the battery so i did some more research. Others were advising to set a custom user profile and set the Voltage at 14.7 so this is what i did. I will monitor to see if this has an improvement on SOC. The DC home app is ok, some of the features don't work for me, such as charge time remaining etc, which is disappointing. I can however see the solar/battery volts and wattage. The Bluetooth is a bit rubbish, you have to continuously quit the app to get it to connect, hopefully this can be addressed in future app updates. One other thing i would have like to have seen in the app is push notifications at user set intervals advising on SOC, however this does not seem to be available. One additional thing that confused me was the model details of this controller, if you look at the Renology website it states that in order to charge LIFEPO4 batteries you need the LI Rover, the amazon listing does not mention 'LI' however it does state it will charge lithium. Luckily when the controller arrived the serial number label does indeed state LI Rover which is just as well as I have ordered a lifepo4 battery from Renology. Overall i am happy with this charge controller, It appears to charge my battery well and the app, whilst basic is good for semi-remote monitoring via bluetooth. Hopefully further updates of the app will enable even more functionality. I hope that you found my review helpful

Good solar controller
I think for the price the full Wi-Fi should come with it. As you can only use it with Bluetooth Good item just over priced

Great service
A bit annoyed when the screen started to fail after a couple of months. Contacted customer service on Amazon (dealing directly with Renogy) and the problem was fully resolved. Really excellent from Renogy. Product was working and continued working throughout the fault. Excellent charger. deployed remotely so Bluetooth module wasn't needed for me. I will be using more of their products. Replacing my cheap solar panels with Renogy versions next
