Galactogil Lactation 24 Sachets

I’ve been using these for two months as I have a notoriously bad supply and I’ve had a good increase but I have also used other methods in conjunction. After receiving no support both times I’ve done this, I’ll share what I’ve done in the hope it might help. Galactogil morning and night. ‘Milks up’ Hottea tea, 2 cups a day (one tea bag will make 2/3 drinks) 9 fenugreek tablets a day (3 tablets 3 times a day). BF baby on demand then pump immediately after, whilst massaging my breasts to drain anything left behind. When BF, using a silicone suction milk cup to collect/initiate let down on the other side. Eating lots of veggies and drink lots of drinks. Stay extra hydrated, this is very important!! The taste is quite savoury, almost like a yeasty taste but easy to drink (I stir it in a small, strong glass of blackcurrant cordial). Unless you need something urgently, look elsewhere as you’ll get a better price (around £8). I was paying £9 for this on Amazon and in two months the price has increased every day to almost £15. Remember that empty breasts make milk, keep your breasts empty in the early days!! If you’re getting too engorged, cut down your routine slightly as you can end up with over supply or pain. Looking after your mental health and stress levels will help your supply. If you have someone to help, ask them to step in so you can pump and do the other steps mindfully. For those doing this alone, you can do this. Try, where possible, to encourage good mental health. Watching mindful breathing videos on YouTube can help and don’t forget to reach out to local groups or parents online for support. I’m a counsellor and hear about supply issues all of the time in my practice, please know that you’re not alone! Good luck - it’s such a hard job but I’ve managed to successfully turn a disastrous first breastfeeding journey into a decent one second time around so it CAN be done for some people. I purchased this product after reading the reviews as my breast milk production was very poor, yet my son refused to take anything other than breast milk. I believe due to my birthing experience (emergency c-section) and on going health problems around my underactive thyroid, my body struggled to meet expectation. Prior to giving up completely, in knowing this would cause a lot of distress to my baby who was outwardly refusing bottles and I was unable to pump anything at this stage either, I thought I’d give these sachets a go. They were a bit difficult for me to intake, as the taste isn’t great and I’m not a fan of the texture around sachets being dissolved in water. However; once the course was completed, I noticed a remarkable improvement in my breast milk, at least enough to get by. This may not be the case for everyone, but if you’re struggling with your milk production and considering these, I would recommend giving them a go. You’ve got nothing to lose.

It doesn’t have a great taste and it neither had an effect on milk supply for me.

Unfortunately I didn't notice any difference although the taste was fine and it allowed me to drink much more water which is always a good thing. What has helped me more is taking sunflower lecithin capsules (X2) every morning alongside Legendairy Milk Pump Princess capsules (X2) every morning as well. But I think the sunflower lecithin is helping much more as the pump princess capsules alone also didn't show a significant difference.

I think it started to help my milk supply as I can see the difference in the pumped milk, if its the effect of product or not I am nt sure.but, Definitely it encourages us to drink more water than usual.

Anyone struggling with their milk supply should get it , it was worth it . All you need is one pack and your milk supply will be great . Also note that you need to eat a balance diet. Also breast milk supply is a law of demand and supply . Once the demand is there , with the help of lactogil the supply will be amazing . I never knew I could breastfeed my son because my breast milk supply was almost nothing . My son is almost 3weeks now and I am doing exclusive and I can pump a full bottle at a time . Plus the taste isn’t bad really .

After having a major decrease in my milk at 6 weeks due to stress I was desperate to try anything with my baby being in nicu I couldn’t afford to lose my milk as she can only have breast milk. I bought these in desperate measure hoping something will help. Ive had to do a lot more self care I’ve been taking these for a few days now and I’ve seen my milk increase from barely nothing back to what I was producing. They don’t taste the best but they are drinkable. Il definitely be purchasing more in the future. Thank you

Absolutely rubbish, I was heaving trying to drink it I got it in my mouth and went sick I couldn't swallow it, it was that bad!! I orded another box still rank but there working, don't know what was up with the other lot!

J’ai acheté ce produit pour relancer ma lactation pendant une poussée de croissance de mon fils. En 48h cela a très bien fonctionné. Le goût n’est pas hyper bon mais au moins pas d’arôme de rajouté.. les sachets sont pratique à emmener partout. Je recommande ce produit

Este tipo de medicamentos creo que es más engañabobos que otra cosa. El sabor es horrible, engorroso porque tienes que tomar 3 al día y no he notado la diferencia.

Lo dicho. Están muy bien. Los compramos para mi mujer que está en periodo de lactancia y de momento bien

Le goût est très correcte!! J'avais peur en lisant les commentaires précédents, mais finalement c'est comparable a une tisane d'allaitement froide.. à diluer dans un grand verre d'eau et pourquoi pas avec une touche de grenadine. En tout cas très satisfaite du résultat et dès le premier jour.
