Nuki Smart Lock Electronic Door Lock with Bluetooth – Automatically Opens The Door with Smart Phone for iPhone and Android [Energy Class A+++]

Works great. I tried previsouly August and Danalock and both of them did not fit my lock and door. Nuki was real easy to install and the application works fine.

I have 3 of these in use. 2 in the home of an elderly relative who forgets to lock the front door. I don’t quite get many of the negative reviews as the product is standard and I’ve had no problems at all. True they do use batteries, but then this compact device delivers a decent amount of torque to turn a stiff lock. Replacing batteries regularly keeps it working efficiently. Updating the Firmware is important. I find these hugely reassuring as I can be totally confident my relative is safe and sound at night. Very clever device

I love the way it doesn't open the door unless I've been away more than 100 metres. So there are no false openings. It is also really easy to attach and can be removed without leaving a mark.

I wouldn't recommend buying this - they havent put anywhere near enough thought into how this will open a lock. It didnt work on my initial door, then I bought a new one (which i was thinking about anyway). The new door didnt work for various reasons. The inside has a thumb lock which doesnt fit in the nuki twister. They have made assumptions on how a door opens and they are wrong. I have tried everything to get it working, took it apart and hoped i could widen the plastic to fit. Its utterly useless - should have just put the 229 euro in the rubbish because thats where the lock is now.

Battery lasts forever and the app is simply easy to use

What a great product! So good that I’ve now purchased two of them along with the hub. I am fortunate in that both locks are close enough together that only one hub is needed.

Piece of rubish, lasted 3 months and the motor got stuck, service from amazon nil, I'll try to find out if the people from NUKI do respond, my guess is that they won't, STAY AWAY

Installing the Nuki was a breeze (10 minutes tops) and configuring it was quite simple and straightforward despite abundant options. The Nuki is NOT a smart lock, but a smart KEY ACTIVATOR. It means that everything that was possible before installing it is still possible after. So you don't loose any functionality by installing it, you just get the added benefits of smartphone control (timer controlled un/locking, remote un/locking, controlled 'guest list', proximity un/locking...Sort of negative point : it is quite noisy when un/locking (motor noise). You don't really suffer from it as most of its actions are when you're outside. Still quieter would be nice.Room for improvement : battery status display in the app.
