Solid all around paddle
All of the reviews I read said this paddle lacked power. I have been playing the Prince Spectrum for about a year and liked the rounded shape, which attracted me to the Joola Radius. I opted for the 14mm version hoping that would reduce loss of power. This paddle is lighter than what I have been playing with more of the weight in the handle. 7.5 oz out of the box. I added an over grip, which added about .2 oz. Handle is tennis shape, which is my preference. 4.5”, 4.75 with overgrip added. I love the surface. It is really grippy. I am not a heavy spinner, more of a brushing type stroke. This paddle definitely gives a slightly lower bounce on my serves. The biggest difference is on resets and 2nd shot drops. Very good at neutralizing power returns. I really like the lighter weight, which noticeably improved hand speed in net battles. It has adequate power for a doubles game. I had no problem punching shots when I needed to. I am very please with this paddle.

Good but not great if you want power
I like the shape and feel of the paddle but it lacks punch for kill shots without swinging harder and losing control .

Really a fun fun paddle feels quite havnot e the power i have with the 14mm cfs ben johns
I really love this paddle for practice and fun it allows for such fantastic control and its so light weight easy to whip around with one hand. not the paddle that i am choosing for play but i do think its fun. the 14mm joola cfs ben johns is more suited towards my over all game.

Placement OVER Power
I own 3 of these paddles. I am a 3.5 player and have been playing for 6 months. This paddle is the best I’ve played with at the net. Dinking is made easy bc the paddle is thick and thus absorbs a little of the impact and in my opinion, reduces the number of pop-ups I hit. It is also lightweight and extremely maneuverable at the net. It does NOT however, have a great deal of power. I am 6’4”, 220 lbs. so I don’t need power in my paddle necessarily. Someone who is a little lighter and has shorter arm length or less strength may want to go with the Hyperion or a firmer paddle. I have added 15g of lead weights to the top edge of the paddle and it still leaves a little to be desired in the power category. I also believe if I had more power in my paddle I would hit a lot more shots long, especially overheads, so it works for me. I love it. I refuse to play with anything else. Paddle importance is probably overestimated as the player’s skill is far more important. I wish blaming a paddle for my poor execution was a viable excuse. Joola also replaced one of mine with no problem whatsoever. Very pleased w company and customer service. Being nice to them on the phone goes a long way. Lol. Good luck, and slap some balls!

Best all around paddle Except
I still gave this paddle five stars because what I needed to do to fix it was not a big deal. I have small hands so the grip that it comes with made it very hard for me to do quick adjustments to the handle which is necessary when someone is returning at fast speeds. so to fix this issue, I use a over grip as the main grip. It was a six dollar fix, but it made all the difference.

Solid control
Been playing consistently for a year and a strong 3.5-3.75 player. Started with Phoenix Pro Series, then onto Gamma Shard (really loved the grip on this one) and didn't think a paddle would make much difference. Was I wrong. I test drove the Joola Radius for 5 mins one day and knew it was the paddle for me.Hitting the ball feels solid with a large sweet spot. I tend to be more of a finesse/control player but can wind up for power when needed/wanted. This paddle can do it all for me.I do wish it had the grip from my Gamma Shard though.Update: the power is lacking after I tried other paddles. Just got a 6.0 dbl black diamond. Holy smoke didn't think I'd be ditching my radius. Still a very solid paddle tho
