Excellent adhesive for use on a roughcast brick base

Works well - no cracking
We used this to secure some 12mm slate tiles next to a multi fuel stove.So far we have had no issues with the adhesive cracking. Also it was very easy to apply and became solid within half an hour.It is a it expensive but is good quality. I needed more than I thought and had to buy another pack despite using the recommended thickness.

Great product. Questionable delivery
Really good and gets the job done. Just had to remove one star because the lid of the tub arrived damaged with a crack on the edge. Wasn't an issue in my case in the end because I managed to get the job done and used the contents in time (I used it in about 2 months) but this would have reduced the shelf life of the product if I'd needed it for a longer time

Excellent so far
Tiling an awkward stove back with heavy tiles I couldn't have done it without this product. It was brilliant. Adhered well to an uneven and bitty surface ... we just had to be careful to position our tiles well the first time as this stuff held fast really quickly which was perfect for us as there wasn't much room to move. Masked off adjacent tiles so any smears came off with the tape as I agree that you don't want to let this set where you don't want it to be! Would definitely buy again and am hoping once the stove is lit it stays as strong as it appears to be now.

lovely stuff
I used this to tile the hearth and found it did a good job. I would urge you to remove spills promptly from the tiles - it took me ages to get dried on adhesive off. I put down kitchen roll and sprayed with ordinary vinegar, then weighted it down for an hour. It made the removal process much easier. To be fair, the makers stress very strongly the need to remove immediately so I only have myself to blame.
