Did the job!
Brought for my 5 year old nephew who has an obsession with swords. Perfect for him, made of cheap but durable plastic material.

My son was happy
The Helmet is a bit small for my 6 year old. Part of the sheath broke within a week. But otherwise my so was happy with the item.

Great Value for Money
I bought this set for my 5 year old and 3 and a half year year old sons, one of each colour and they love them!! They love playing (and learning about) knights and dragons. The straps on the body amour mean they can be adjusted to fit, the shield, sword and scabard are good quality for the price, the helmets are good too (although my 5 year old could do with a slightly bigger size!!). The whole set seems durable and nothing has broken yet!

Has limitations
I bought this for my just 5 year old boy and he was extremely excited when it arrived but that quickly turned to tears when he struggled to get on with it. I wish now that I had bought a fabric costume as the harder body armour is a bit awkward for him.Pro's:- The sword and scabbard are exactly what he wanted and look durable. There is also a belt loop cut into the scabbard so you can thread it onto a belt which wasn't obvious from the description but is useful.- It all looks like it could withstand a fair amount of rough play and the overall look is effective.Con's:- The body plate and shield are both slightly bent out of shape and so far seem to be resisting correction.- The body plate constantly falls off the arms and is quite broad making it very awkward for my son to reach for/draw his sword - hence the tears...He is getting used to it now so we'll see if it becomes a beloved toy but I do think a fabric tabard would have been much better instead of the body plate. In terms of size it is about right for my average sized newly 5 year old.

Great but needs some adjusting
My son (5yo) is over the moon with this set! Yes itās plastic-y and the helmet came misshaped but he hasnāt taken it off since it came! Easy solution to bring the helmet back to its normal shape is position it over a bowl and pour a full kettle of hot water, then using oven gloves just give it a bit of a helpful squeeze and voila helmet is fixed. My son loves the fact the lovable part of the helmet indeed does move up and down and that the sword has a protective cover so heās like a āreal knightā.

Yes, Its plastic....but looks very authentic!
My eight year old nephew has been watching Horrible Histories and has really gotten into the whole medieval knight thing...so it was inevitable that the next thing he was looking for was suit of armour. He picked this out and I bought it for him. I was a little concerned that the helmet might be too small, going by other reviews, but actually it was a perfect fit. The armour itself is made from plastic, and it looks like real steel, and is molded to the body shape which is cool. The colour is indescribable, not black, not silver, not bronze, but a mix of all three, making it look very battle worn. Perfect!

Poor quality
The item arrived well packaged but shield was misshapen and the helmet too small for 7 year old. Chest plate kept sliding off as well. Only good thing was a sword.
