I ordered these as it said it could work as waterproof dressings for wounds. I would like to see if it could replace traditional dressings. It is easy to use and super thin. I tested on my forearm and ankle. It worked great on my flat forearm and sticks well. But the one on my ankle did not work as expected. The edge did not stay securely around the ankle.The dressings felt more comfortable than traditional ones because they were much thinner and did not have the tight feelings on my skin. They also felt more breathable.

There are various uses for this. The emphasis is on a waterproof second skin.I am impressed by these as an alternative to dressing tape for wound dressings that are not self adhesive. The large and inconspicuous nature of the transparent skin spreads the tension and gives more surface area for bonding to the skin, so it is less likely to come loose.It is a thin membrane - thinner than the HRT patches I use. I am testing these out by putting one in a high chafe area, covering my HRT patch. After 24 hours the performance is excellent - no sign of failure in adhesion or coverage despite hot weather and a busy day.
