Dorr 70 x 14 cm Medium Adventure Tripod Case

Ok, it's early days, I've only just received this and have yet to put it to task in the field but it looks and feels good. I dithered about whether to get the 70x14cm medium or the slightly larger 90x15cm large size. The medium would fit my tripod lengthwise but I was unsure about the diameter; it was borderline. In the end I went for the medium and it swallows the tripod. So, what size tripod will this bag take? Well it's a Gitzo GT3543LS Systematic Series 3 tripod with a Novo - LGH40 ballhead (similar to a Really Right Stuff head but cheaper!), so it's not particularly small bit of kit. The bag easily hold it with room to spare plus the pocket on the side managed to hold things like different tripod feet and the variety of hex wrenches etc. Gitzo provide to change feet, tighten heads etc.Could it be better? Well, perhaps a bit more padding at the ends to protect the head and tripod feet but there's a lot of space for me to add something else if I think that's a major issue. And perhaps a carry handle or two as well as the strap (which is well long enough to wear across the body).

An excellent and well made carry bag with plenty of room for even a fairly chunky tripod. It also has a small outer zipped pocket for a few small odds and ends.My use is slightly different as I carry just a lightweight photo lighting type tripod stand rather than a full-blown pan/tilt head photo or video tripod,but this fits the bill, is padded sufficiently that rough handling won’t damage the contents and has a shoulder strap to make carrying easier.Overall for the price, very impressed.

Cannot particularly fault the design of the product.It is compact and snug fitting.If I was to be specific I would have liked just another centimetre or two of room around it's circumference/width to accommodate a larger tripod head. Other than that virtually spot on for my requirements.It would be good to see this bag marketed more for the general tripod market, rather to fit just a specific tripod make.If a few centimetres were added to its length and width I think it will be a very good seller.

Bought for my husband, he was very pleased with it, not actually used it, he was able to put in all that he wanted, so not carrying lots of holdalls.

excellent value for money and very comfy to carry, could do with a handle for when not on the shoulder. I've given it 5* for durability even though its only just arrived, but it looks robust enough for the job. Regards to size, I've got my tripod and two monopod's in with room to spare, so no issues there. All in all a good product.

Great value, well made, good zip and not floppy like some brands. I've used it for two small tripods for plant photography end-to-end

Great value bag. Sufficient padding and protection for my tripod which is quite bulky and heavy

Used to carry my Manfrotto 190 tripod and ball head. Good fit, yet to try carrying it but appears comfortable.
