Have had all Chucky films on vhs,laserdisc,Blu-ray over the years. Now the 4k releases begin. The first 3 films look the best they possibly can. Big upgrade from prior releases with plenty of extra features finally. The 4k discs are of course region free,the accompanying Blu-ray discs are locked to region A.

Surprisingly this was a very entertaining third installment of the Child's Play franchise and probably the best movie. The plot is clever in that it moves us forward to when Andy is now a teenager and he is attending military school. Andy doesn't just have a killer doll to contend with but the army majors who are there to see he gets hell and discipline. We really didn't need a third movie straight with a killer doll and a little kid. The best thing about this movie though is how funny and cynical Chucky is, his lines of dialogue are perfect. There's quite a bit of gore to keep fans happy and the movie never seems to drag. It's been written well enough for this sort of film, however some lines are just plain stupid. Witness two characters in the woods, one hears a noise and the other says, "It's probably just a chipmunk or something", one can only guess that the actors were holding in their laughter on this one. This is a fun movie, slightly better than Part 2 which was let down by the acting of Jenny Agutter and Gerrit Graham, and more involving than the original film. However the original obviously had more of a tension and atmosphere throughout it.

I always loved the cheesy humour mixed with Hack & slash Horror that is the Childsplay/chucky franchise, but I never got to see this movie when it was released due to its controversialy alleged connection to at least two high profile murders in the UK! Cinema's wouldn't show it and video stores would not stock it! So it was only recently whilst isolating and browsing for somthing to watch that I stumbled across this and decided to watch all the movies in order that I finally got to see it and i was not disappointed! Scary, funny and extra Gory!! I loved it!

Not the best chucky movie but first 3 are all worth watching

This is probably my 3rd favourite in the Child's Play series that I've seen so far out of Child's Play 1, 2 and Bride of Chucky. Seed of Chucky now on its way and bought Cult of Chucky yesterday - and the DVD arrived within a day or 2 of ordering, so very happy :)

The child's play films are by far the best in the series and with each childs play movie they certainly don't fail to disappoint I won't announce spoilers but would highly recommend that people buy this movie it is very good

Just a good movie from the chucky series. You want to know where the balance Between the black humor and serial killer is in the series? It's right there and just good to watch! Andy is in trouble again and life hasn't been easy on him. Chucky wants to end him once and for all! He can now transfer to a new host and get out this doll. Andy must stop this nightmarish toy! But how can he, constantly watch and bullied in a millitary school? The first trilogy is a must own for a horror fan. Brad Dourif's voice acting is just great as ever and the toy mechanical effects are just pure art. We can all argue which one of the serie is the best, but we can't do it without the movies. Have a good time! :)

Buen Blu-ray sin extras

Excelente por que contiene extras a diferencia de las ediciones de universal, solo que las escenas eliminadas contenidas en el disco de bluray bonus, no están en HD ,ya que son una digitalizacion de vhsrip de las edición transmitida en sci fi.
