Overall, pretty good buy
Received on time with no issues. First look was nice, small, light and easy to use. But it takes a long time to get the grind. Have to constantly shake it to get the beans to the grinder. I use a French press and as the water is heating it takes the whole time to get the amount needed ground before the water is ready, so you are in a rush to get done before your water cools down too much. It's not a bad grinder just takes longer. It is easy to clean with the added brush which makes it nice.Overall, it's worth the money for a camping grinder but at home will still use the electric grinder.

Good product for the price!
I received my order 2 days after placing it which was nice. I have been using it for 3 days and I have to say it works as advertised. I would give it four stars but the lid and the cup don’t really snap closed tight. They do lock but the lid with the grind handle did come off once on me. Fortunately nothing spilled but since then I hold the grinder close and turn the grind handle a little slower. This really seems to help. Grinder appearance is nice and quality seems to be good but time will tell. Overall this grinder is a good value for the price.

Doesn’t do the job at all
I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for a friend. We both agree it’s sucks. As in it doesn’t work at all. It’s it’s pretty, that’s it. Trust me, stay away

Basic, but sturdy hand grinder though it's mostly plastic & ceramic
I don't usually have a need for all that much ground coffee at once - usually just enough for one pour a day - so I've preferred hand grinders for the last several years. I've had mixed results with the cheaper hand grinders, but this one caught my eye since it looks a bit nicer & better built than the usual grinders in this price range. The ceramic burr inside is pretty standard, though I'm pleased to say it doesn't seem to have as much play in it as some of the other grinders I've owned in the past. For my pour over, I end up using a very coarse grind. This can do it just fine, but, you do have to go way past the "8 adjustable" settings (I'm assuming a "setting" means a click of the grind adjustment dial). I tightened it down all the way and then went about 12 clicks of the grind adjustment to get the grind I wanted. If you go another click or two, you're start disassembling the grinder (it's easy to put it back together though if you do accidentally go too far). The grind seemed consistent enough for me. It wasn't really better or worse than other similar grinders. It does take a little more effort compared to similar grinders because the handle is a bit shorter when fully extended compared to others I've used.I do really like how the handle folds up onto the top of the grinder. That makes the whole thing more compact and keeps it from being unbalanced. I also like the the fact that the top does somewhat "lock". I've had many times where some beans came flying out of other grinders because the top was just a little plastic disc. This one just twists on and locks with a little tab. It doesn't take much force to lock or unlock, but it's just enough to keep the beans in there without being annoying to open & close.Even though it's listed as stainless steel, that's just the top cap. Everything your beans come into contact with is plastic & ceramic. The bottom is also plastic - it would have been nice to have glass. I get a bit of coffee clinging to the container due to static. Not a huge deal, but it seems less of an issue with glass containers. The bottom also locks the same as the top - it's just a little twist to lock or unlock. I haven't had any issue with that, but I think I would prefer the bottom to lock a little more securely by screwing on threads or something.Overall, I'm pretty happy with the grinder. The wood looks nice and it has a better grip compared to some of the grinders that are metal. I like that it stores a bit easier due to the collapsing handle. You're not going to grind a ton of beans at any one time with something like this, but if you just make a cup or two a day and want freshly ground beans with just a minute or two of effort, this will definitely get the job done.
