L630(4-Pack) GU10 Smart Bulb Multicolour Dimmable LED Light Bulb

If you just want bulbs that you can adjust the brightness and colour of, these are perfect. The associated Tapo app is super easy to use and lets you group bulbs together so you can control them simultaneously. It also has a cool “auto match” feature which roughly matches the natural shades of sunrise, daylight and sunset to help your circadian rhythm (basically helps you sleep naturally). An important thing to note is that I am NOT using these with a smart switch - i.e when I flip the switch on the wall the power is cut and they disconnect from the network. If you plan on doing the same, just know that sometimes the bulbs will have the wrong color/warmth for the first few seconds after switching them on because it takes a couple seconds for them to connect to your WiFi. This really is only a second or two and doesn’t happen all the time. I use these bulbs in conjunction with a Google Nest Hub, specifically the “sunrise alarm” feature which will slowly increase the brightness of your lights when your wake-up alarm goes off so you wake up naturally. Somewhere along the line this can go wonky - some of the bulbs will get stuck at different brightnesses rather than all fading in together. I am fairly sure this is Googles fault, as the Tapo app has no such syncing issues, and my WiFi is certainly not an issue. Recommend? Yes - the two issues I mentioned above are not the fault of this product, but I feel they are important to know. I was expecting to have more problems considering how much cheaper these are than brands like Hue, but the bulbs themselves are brilliant.

Integrated perfectly fine with existing tapo setup I have. Extremely easy to set up and get connected with and works well with Google Home Assistant. If car has Android Auto you can ask your car to turn them on. The color changing function is a novelty as I have them in outside lights near front door

A bit fiddly and cannot get 1 of the bulbs to connect. Luckily I only need 3. Nice bright light which can be dimmed and strong colours too. Can also work with Alexa which is a bonus

I have 3 of these in the study and 6 in the living room, both hooked up to the Tapo button and alexa for control. Pros - Range and consistency of colours is great. - Bright - budget friendly Cons - Sometimes commands take 5-30 seconds to "wake" the bulb - Sometimes the bulb is totally unresponsive - Not reliable ^^ - Tapo software has some issues. Using a day schedule and auto adjust on the bulbs means sometimes it decides it doesnt need to be on because its midday (even though its dark in the room because its overcast) - Tapo range doesnt have a proper switch like competitors - buttons are not quite right.

Smart colour changing bulbs, at a good price. They're massively too bright for the space, but running them at 50% or less will hopefully extend their lifespan. The app is good, but missing dynamic scenes for the group.

Easy to install and works well

Totally useless and NOT fit for purpose. Bought the 4 pack GU10 from Tapo as I've had other devices in my home from them. From setup tu use it was a disaster took way too long to set up - 3 basically pretty quickly, the 4th just refused to connect and install from the app. After 3 long hours it connected. Then the fun began.... They would randomly turn on when the on/off buttons pressed on the app. Other times it would switch to on and then the button flip to off.... Constantly and with random bulbs. The same for turning off, sometime 2 of the 4 would respond and a few mins later the other 2 would go off. Want to turn on 1 light, not a chance - turn on 1 and then the other 3 would switch on - same with turning 1 or 2 off, all 4 would go out.! Sometimes none of them would respond to turning off, or 10 mins later they would turn off (longest delay was 30 mins). As for working with Google home 🙈🙈 the delay and lag is absolutely ridiculous. I've lost all faith in the product. I've done everything that support asked me to do (even though I'd already done this myself, firmware updates resetting, reinstalled etc.) nothing worked and Tapo support just kept asking me to do the same thing over and over! Just as an FYI. I bought 4 other GU10 bulbs from another well know brand and the setup in minutes and have worked flawlessly - Bluetooth and wifi connection.

Works great with Alexa

These bulbs are the most straightforward Wi-Fi bulbs I have ever configured. Plug them in and they just work. Minimum effort required to set them up.

I got these lights because they offer you full spectrum RGB including warm and cool white. they are really easy to install and set up. the Tapo app offers a lot of features and connects to smart homes' voice assistance. The only problem is that sometimes one of the lights would disconnect and I have to set it up again.
