I am an H.G.V. driver. Food for me was sandwiches or something bort, from a motorway service place. Now I do my ownI like this lunch box. I put my food in it, rice , pasta, cottage Pye, with vegetables. Plug it in 45 minutes before my break I get to have good hot food.

So i brought this for work, because microwaves are to extensive for trucks and this was something of a bone of contention. After spending a small fortune on lunch outside.Working in central London it is very easy to spend £30 a week on lunch if you're purchasing everyday.Therefore it pays for itself within a weekA hit, oh and then some... 5 of my colleagues purchased this off the back of my purchase because they saw how mazing it is. Not to meantion other Truck drivers.I referred so many people I should have got commission. Ha ha ha😀😆If you do have a microwave in the Truck, with this badboy you don't have to queue and clean the microwave before you use it. Non of that faff.I've heated leftovers, breakfast (banana fritters) and nachos.This is great if you have to work through lunch. Food takes about 30-40 minutes to heat through depending on what you're having.Only regret is not purchasing this sooner!Oh and FYI yes I have burnt my tongue the other reviwers didn't lie, it heats up that well.No, you don't get smells. No one knew i was heating my food until I took the lid off to eat.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who is a truck driver, to help him have warm lunches (instead of the cafe). This is the second one I have purchased as the first one didn’t work. It was from a different supplier so I was apprehensive if they were any good at all.To my delight, this one has worked perfectly. The only thing I would mark it down on is it’s not leak proof. Apart from that it’s brilliant and would recommend to anyone who is on the road for long periods of time.

I was very sceptical in making this purchase; you can never be sure if a product lives up to its claims, however I can most assuredly say this is one of the best purchases I’ve made from Amazon to date. As a truck driver, on the road all day, I get sick of living off pastry, bread or takeaway food. Finally I have the means to bring a delicious home cooked meal from home with me. Within around half an hour I have a piping hot, delicious & nutritious meal. The lunchbox is an ideal size to fit in my work bag and the fact it comes with complimentary cutlery means I can’t possibly forget that.I’ve only tried dishes with a rice side so far but have been mightily impressed. If it can also cope with pasta & spuds as the main carbs it will have revolutionised my working life. By my calculations, this item will have paid for itself in just 7 days based on money saved. I thoroughly recommend it. Don’t forget to have suitable crockery though.

Nice and compact. Heats up precooked meals. Lasagne from Marks & spencers piping hot almost burnt my tongue.

This has completely changed my lunch as a truck driver. I bought a box of plastic containers the same you get from the Chinese and have put soup in it to heat up, its hot in about 1hr, ive made frittata (big thick Spanish omelette) at home and wrapped it in tinfoil and it hears brilliantly. having hot food while out and about without having to eat processed rubbish from a hot counter in a garage is excellent.

Bought to replace a previous one that leaks. We thought we had lost the rubber seal but obviously not as there wasn’t one with this one either. I tested it by filling with water and tipping it a bit and the water came out. Sent back with no problems.However if you are happy and confident that it won’t tilt over, it’s a great good warmer . Just don’t put gravy on your meal or have soup.

I bought this for my wagon so that I could have a hot meal cause got sick of sandwiches and it didn't dissapoint its one of the best gadgets that I have bought and the amazing thing is it gets red hot if your looking for something to give you a hot meal either in your car for a day out or at work like me in my truck I would highly recommend this 👍
