DHS Clear Shampoo 16 Oz

I’ve been using this for over a year. Love it. It’s fragrance free, paba free & dye free. Gentle enough to use it everyday. The large bottle is 16 oz. Since it is a clarifying shampoo it is easy on the scalp and maintains ph balance. Nice thick shampoo, good lather. With all this said it doesn’t leave my scalp irritated or dry.

It's okay. Leaves hair kind of dry but I've had worse shampoos. I have a dermatitis reaction with fragrances. This shampoo was fine. But I have found better stuff by Phillip Adams shampoo and conditioner and it leaves my hair nice and soft. More natural than all the chemicals and crap found in this shampoo

First off, let me say I have suffered from hair products making my head itch for years and spent hundreds of dollars trying to find something that doesn't make me spend all day scratching my head. I have been using this shampoo for a month and for the first time in years my head is not itching. I have grey hair that always felt wiry and brittle, this shampoo has made my hair soft and shiny. I don't use a conditioner; this shampoo is very moisturizing on its own. I live in Houston Texas and because the humidity is horrendous, it doesn't stop the frizzies. I have started using, on the recommendation of a grey-haired friend, pura d' or argan oil heat shield. It's very light weight and really helps with the humidity, full disclosure, the pura d'or does make my head itch, but not enough to stop using it! Anyway, for those of you in search of a shampoo that doesn't itch, try this one, it works for this grey haired old lady.

Pros: This shampoo has no fragrance; it has a really rich lather; makes my hair feel thicker; doesn't cause itchy, red bumps and dryness; no more hair loss. Cons: Scalp seems more oily; go through the bottle quickly; scalp still itches (though significantly less); still have a little dandruff. Conclusion: I really like this shampoo and how it makes my hair and scalp feel, overall. Before I started using it, my scalp had red bumps and would itch, uncontrollably, to the point it would bleed. I would also be able to pick thick pieces of build-up/skin off of my scalp, had really bad dandruff, and my hair was falling out and thinning.* The first few times that I washed my hair with it, I didn't think much of it except that it didn't make my condition worse. I didn't really start to notice a difference for about 2 weeks of almost daily washing. I will continue using it until I find something that works a little better for me, as it is the best shampoo I've found so far. *I have hypothyroidism, lupus, and Sjogrens, so they, along with my medications, can effect my skin in different ways. They have recently been adjusted, so some of the results/continuing issues may not be a result of the shampoo.
