I love this thing! Very easy to use. I don't have a lot of back hair but about 30 apparently I thought I had about 10 but the shaver cut a lot more than I thought I had or could see. Very easy to use and no irritation. I'ven been trying for yeasr to cut with a regular shaver and I didn't know how badly I needed this thing. I highly recommend

So far the best shaver I’ve used. I’ve been using the OmniShaver for the last few years. It worked well but had to go over my back several times and had to use shaving cream which was a pain to apply each time. The entire process took a long time and was messy. I haven’t used the BaKblad dry, used it in the shower with some soap. I gently dragged the BaKblade across my back, getting out of the shower for mirror to check process, and after a few times had the closest cleanest shave I’ve ever had. There were some red lines on my back but no cuts. I didn’t use a lot of pressure when shaving, there’s no need to. The lines went away shortly after. I used lotion after the shave as well, did not experience any irritation. Very pleased with the result! Also the original OmniShaver I purchased broke after the first year. I bought a replacement that lasted two years. That’s when I decided to try the baKblade. I haven’t owned it long but seems more sturdy than the Omni, time will tell.

When I was browsing Amazon for products that would make it easier to shave my back and shoulders, this kept coming up top of the list. There were good reviews, but I was apprehensive to try it. You see, this clearly states that it is a back shaver for men, and I’m not a man. I am, however, a transmasc nonbinary person and over a year of taking testosterone has lead to a small jungle forming on my shoulders. I didn’t know what using a men’s shaver could potentially do to me as a not-man - would it turn me into a man? Would all my skin fall off where ever it touched? Would simply opening the package burn my hands? I decided to accept the possible risks and give it a try anyway, as it did seem like the easiest and best option available. Thankfully I can now report that all it did was shave my hair- and did so extremely well!! I decided to try it in the shower for my first use, as I have somewhat sensitive skin and didn’t want to give my entire back razor burn. I did make sure to use body wash and exfoliate before shaving - like you would before shaving most other areas. It did seem to do a better job/closer shave below my shoulders… but I do get some breakouts on my shoulders, so I was taking a little extra caution there along with not having as easy of a time directing it with my hand well above my head. In all honesty I am glad to have made this purchase. This tool made something quick and easy that used to be a long and laborious process. It also included a suction cup to hang on the shower wall, which is a nice touch seeing as my shower already has pretty limited shelf space. I’ll update this review if anything changes, but bad branding aside I would recommend this for anyone who would rather have a smoother back.

this product is pretty outstanding. I was concerned about cutting myself, butut the blade design is great and had zero issues.

This turned out to be better than I expected. I was a bit skeptical at all the hype about this product. Works great on my back, easy to use. Surprisingly I don't cut myself with it because it is pretty sharp. The blade set up is really well designed to protect you. It does a great job in just one pass---you don't have to go over and over the same spot. I don't think I would use it dry though. In the shower while wet and using some conditioner to help it slide a bit works best for me. I very happy with this thing. Got one for my son and he loves it too.

I've always been a hairy guy, and never bothered to groom my unwanted body hair before because I'm like a human Play Dough Hair salon when it comes to growing hair. But recently I decided to look into back shavers because my patchy gorilla back can be an eye sore at times. I had no clue whats what on these products, so I went with this because of the amount of positive reviews and it wasn't the most expensive. Got it and tried it almost right away using the dry shave method. I heard the 2.0 was shorter than the original, but I wouldn't know. This one did have a hard time reaching certain spots. I'm sure my technique was off and my apartment bathroom mirror sits so high that I cant see anything past mid back, so that didn't help. You do have to go over some spots multiple times to get all the hair off and its a pain in the butt to get the back of the neck to the point where I just used hair clippers/razor to clean up the rest. Took me a good half hour or to finally get all the hair (that I could see anyways). It did nick me up a little bit and cause some burns in my shoulders and neck (luckily I had some aloe vera gel on hand!) but I got all the hair off. So to summarize the product. It works, it really does. I dont know if its because it was the first time I shaved my body hair, but it was really rough on my sensitive skin. I had a good 5-6 cuts on me and some burns. Wasn't the most positive experience but I'm gonna give it another shot when its time to groom again. If you have a good sized mirror, then it might be good for you too. Also, bring a broom and dust pan because there will be hair everywhere!

This thing works surprisingly good. It took a little while to get used to the angle but once you do it works really well. I recommended this to all of my fuzzy friends.

It does exactly what it says. Clean and easy shave of your back. Really ingenious.

È semplicemente fantastico! Pratico, molto funzionale e semplicissimo da usare! Sicurissimo, mi son rasato la schiena in meno di 15 minuti, senza causarmi tagli alla pelle! Prima di trovare questo rasoio, dovevo improvvisarmi contorsionista, con la macchinetta taglia capelli! Finalmente ho risolto un enorme e fastidioso problema dei moltissimi peli sulla schiena! Rasatura PERFETTA e senza schiuma o sapone! L'oggetto ha anche 2 lame di ricambio quindi praticamente l'oggetto ha una durata lunga!

I took a chance as I was very doubtful this would work well, but it’s amazing! I never thought I could do this myself. It’s very sharp and the blades are large, so you have to go very slow and be very careful, but I’ve used it dry multiple times and have had great results with no cuts! If this is something that you struggle with I highly recommend taking a chance. It is very liberating to be able to do this myself and not have to rely on anyone. Also, I would recommend the electric shaver from Panasonic for other trimming. It’s very high quality and much better than the Phillips product. I use that on the lowest setting and I’m very happy with the clean, natural results. Combined with the product, I’m now fully sorted.

Je l'ai testé pour la première fois la semaine passée, à sec. J'y ai été calmement, lentement afin d'éviter les coupures dont certains parlent dans leur commentaires. Cela a pris du temps mais tout s'est bien passé. Mon dos est super clean. J'ai tout fait seul et demandé après à quelqu'un de vérifier et il ne restait pas de poils apparant. J'ai un grain de beauté (pas trop épais) et j'ai su passer dessus sans soucis mais j'étais super prudent. Mon seul bémol c'est qu'après je devais ramasser tout les poils :D

It does what it claims but is way overpriced for what it is. The cost should be no more than 40-50$

This is genuinely a good product. For this price you can’t get a product with this much efficiency and steel based design. The plastic and the rubber grip over it both are really good and it’s length is really handy. The blades are very effective as well, does the job in 5 mins.
