Cordless Compressed Air-Pump UniversalPump 18V

Bought as needed cordless for ease of use and trailer, corded not long enough. I already have a bosch drill and batteries so no brainer. Very impressed with the build quality and efficiency of this pump, reallypumps up fast. Only negative is no pre set options, just an analogue gauge. However, the gauge is probably very accurate being bosch. Very happy with this purchase.

Well made and comes with a range of nozzles for all valve types for bikes, cars and balls. It also now comes with a quick snap on and quick release Schroder nozzle for car tyres, rather than the slower screw on fitting it apparently used to have. The brass snap on works well and is actually easer to put on and release than the black plastic nozzle on British pumps. A well made, well thought out piece of kit. I used a foot pump for years so this pump is a bit noisy by comparison - but I would rather have this one!PS: I forgot to mention the battery - I have a Bosch 18v battery for a drill and another 18 v battery for a strimmer - both tools are about 10 years old. Amazingly both batteries still fit this new Bosch pump and work with no problems - good for Bosch in producing a battery which fits new tools as well as old for so many years!

This is a brilliant tool. It is much easier to use, faster and more effective than traditional 12 volt compressors. It took my horsebox trailer tyres from 45 psi to 60 in just a couple of minutes each (my 12v compressors could not cope). It needs a 5 minute rest after 5 minutes continuous use (15 mins for 12v comp). It comes with all the connectors I would need. I wish I had had this tool years ago.

Bought this Bosch UniversalPump 18V and I’m genuinely impressed. It's ridiculously easy to use—just connect and go. It inflated my car and bike tyres in no time at all, much quicker than I expected.Best part? It runs on the same 18V battery system as my other Bosch tools, so no faffing around with separate chargers or cables. Just pop in a battery and you're ready to roll.Compact, efficient, and properly convenient. A no-brainer if you're already in the Bosch 18V family!

I have several Bosch professional (blue), and home (green) power tools. All, I've been pleased with.I previously bought those generic brand compressors, for the sole purpose of car tyres, only to find the battery goes faulty within 5 months. And you can't buy replacement batteries that are compatible and/or reputable.So, given I already have Bosch batteries. I bought this bosch compressor. Though I did hope for an affordable professional (blue) range unit. But settled for this.Though I bought it for my car tyres, I first tested it on two basket balls that had deflated, and it worked fine. Then set it aside as I'd recently checked my car tyres.I then tried it on my car tyres but after the Amazon 30day return window elapsed. Wish I'd tried it sooner, as I'd have returned it for the reasons that follow.Firstly, the door to the adapter storage (see video) doesn't clip in securely. The plastic must have deformed during manufacturing and not caught by bosch quality control. So, I expect at sometime in the future to lose the adapters.Secondly, the valve adapter (see photo). It's supposed to be quick release for car tyres. It's tricky to put on correctly and quickly. The first time, it opened the tyre valve and deflated the tyre. I pushed it in securely, or so I thought, but it kept leaking as it left the tyre valve on.Removing it then tried on a different tyre. Had a little better success, getting it on the tyre valve and NOT deflating my tyre. However, I found the pressure gauge was 0 (zero) as if it wasn't fitted to anything inflatable. Again I removed it and tried again. This time the gauge read a pressure but I could hear a slight hiss as it was deflating my tyre! Again removed it and tried again. Successful this time.Removing the adapter from the tyre can be tricky and you can lose lots of air, so you'll have to overinflate by guess work.In my 30 yrs of driving I've never had a compressor this tricky/fiddly/unreliable. I still have my very first Challenge brand 12v cig lighter compressor which still works fine. And goes on right away, without massive leaking/deflating.Because it can't be returned, I'm keeping this. But it's not something I'll be using when I'm in a hurry.Noise level. This is no louder or quieter than every other compressor I've used.I can't recommend this. Unless you already have bosch batteries, then take a chance just to save money on not having to buy a battery.

Well made pump. Seems very solid.Used on car and bike tyres so far.Note that this pump is not compatible with the Bosch Professional series batteries. It takes the DIY series ones instead.I use it with an adapter as my Bosch batteries are Pro series. Adapter is not branded but as it’s only for occasional use it should be fine.

Good product. Works very well. Had expected a digital display, but the analog display still works well. Much faster inflation speed than my other pumps!

Super pratique

Super handige pomp van kwaliteitsmerk Bosch.Lijkt simpel, maar blaast in paar minuten een kinderbadje volledig op.Door het 18V batterijsysteem van Bosch kun je de batterij van andere Bosch apparaten gebruiken en zit je nooit zonder stroom.

Funciona perfecamente, Recordad, la batería hay que comprarla aparte.

Pump works well but, as expected, is very noisy.The accessory Valves are very useful.It would be more useful if the Kit comes with the correct Batteries instead of Buyers like me having to purchase the Wrong Batteries because there is no indication as to what Batteries are used for this Air Pump.

Gonfiatore Bosh eccellente nonostante le dimensioni e il peso. Totalmente conforme alla descrizione, l’ho potuto testare solo oggi, dopo aver comprato la batteria a parte (il che lo fa diventare un attrezzo a mio avviso molto costoso, considerando la fascia di prodotto nella quale vuole collocarsi). Avendo 3 figli disabili che usano varie carrozzine (per la precisione 5) di cui 3 manuali con ruote che vanno a 6 bar, e 2 carrozzine elettroniche con ruote che vanno a 3 bar, per un totale di 14 ruote, ho gonfiato tutto in pochi minuti. Il gonfiatore non è venuto meno, e non ha surriscaldato. La batteria tra l’altro non ha consumato granché. Ho gonfiato anche 2 ruote della mia auto. Anche quelle, pur mettendoci un poco di tempo in più, le ha gonfiate senza difficoltà. Poi sono arrivato alla nota dolente delle ruote del mio furgone, un ducato con ruote antiforatura da 16”. E quelle non so se riesce a gonfiarle. Dovendo pure arrivare ai 69 psi (4,5 bar). C’ho provato, ho insistito per qualche minuto, ma vedevo che il manometro non saliva neanche di una tacca. Per cui poi ho dovuto desistere. Sicuramente ci riproverò per vedere se riesce a darmi qualche riscontro positivo. Ma almeno le carrozzine dei miei figli e l’auto, con questo gonfiatore elettrico, sono a posto per qualunque necessità.Volevo concludere ribadendo ancora che il prezzo secondo me è alto, ma cercavo qualche cosa che mi desse rese reali, per via delle mie necessità un poco fuori dall’ordinaria amministrazione. E in questo gonfiatore l’ho decisamente trovato.
