Very good movie and interesting plot

a heart warming romance movie.a lesbian drama that was tastefully produced,i felt the ending could of been different,but most movies today are ended abruptly leaving the door open for a sequel.

Beautifully filmed, beautifully acted, with characters that make sense and actions that are understandable. Drags a bit in the middle, but is still an interesting story about well-defined characters.

Not great picture quality. And the storyline was just ok.

the heartland dvd was a great story. the love scene was tender. the under lining theme was family.

Problems with this CD which was defective.

Pretty good movie. Coming from a lesbian couple, we enjoyed it.

A young woman loses her female lover to a long illness. She goes home to her widowed mother in farm country. The Mom goes overboard with trappings of hospitality - blankets, food, family memorabilia, but purposefully avoids any real understanding with her daughter, as this is evangelical territory. The young woman’s brother shows up with a fiancé, and misunderstandings compound. All the awkward clashes seem too numerous and too much. However the two young women become intimate during a storm - a very well shot erotic sequence that is the epicenter of the film. Worth the wait.

音声 英語 英語字幕あり ディスクには NTSC 1 と書かれてありますが、 リージョンフリーのプレーヤーでなくても、再生出来ました。 恋人の女性を亡くし傷心のアーティストの女性が、母親の住む家に戻り、 そこで兄に伴って来た兄の恋人の女性と数日過ごすうちに、 その女性と急速に距離を縮め・・・というストーリーです。 オクラホマの田舎の家族の絆を描いた作品なのかもしれません。 海外のレビューが高評価が多いので見てみましたが、語学力のない私には 感銘出来る点がありませんでした。役者さん達は悪くないと思いますので、 こういう作品とわかって見直して見ればまた違って見えるかもしれません。 スウェーデン映画、KISS ME の義理の姉妹のラブ・シーンを 意識しているのかなと、思われるところがあります。
