The KIS Flashlight For Anyone
A very powerful flashlight with a very simple and easy to use user interface. 3 modes, low, medium and high selected by a rotating ring. Even the low, listed as 1000 lumens, is powerful enough for 90%+ of normal flashlight uses as it is far brighter than a classic 4 or 5 D cell Maglite of years ago and has a claimed run time of over 6 hours with the included batteries on the low setting. The charging port is hidden under the aluminum tail cap so is much better protected than the tethered rubber caps on most USB chargeable flashlights. If you need more run time then get a spare set of batteries as this light uses individual replaceable 21700 batteries rather than a proprietary battery pack. Keep a spare set of charged batteries and you have over 12 hours of light available.Being a dive light rated for 100 meters water resistance this should make a excellent emergency light when the weather turns against you. It should ignore rain or inadvertent submersion and the quite wide flood beam reveals the terrain in front of you much better than a very narrow tunnel type beam in my opinion. The light appears to be quite solidly constructed and actually is a couple of ounces heavier than a Acebeam X50 2.0 that I have compared it to. At maximum light output both are overkill for most users and uses but that also means long run times at reduced brightness levels.

Dive light with attention to detail
Wurkkos built a home run diving light with this light. This has some improved features over other dive lights and even some older Wurkkos diving lights. The top 3 features that stood out to me are listed below:1) USBC Charging built in - This is a major win and better than having to use a charging adapter.2) Double O rings to help prevent water from getting into the light. Wurkkos usually does this but I feel this for their dive lights but I think it's vital so that if one o ring leaks, the other could prevent water from shorting the light. They also include some extras so you can inspect them after use.3) Longer head which gives more of a spotty beam instead of a floody beam. This is so vital for underwater when you are kicking up sand and muck. A flood beam will make all of the particles in the water reflect and you won't see anything. This having a spot style beam allows you to see what you point the light at. This is so helpful for water use.Generally speaking, this light is great. It's got a commanding hand feeling that screams quality. The button actuation is really smooth and uses magnets so it'll work well in water. The light is a neutral white which will be great for true color reproduction (think fish spotting or looking for coral). My only complaint about the light is the long charging time, but with a large battery, that's to be expected. It could have also been my charger too, so I guess I can't really fault the light for that. This light is clearly for divers and people who will be using this in the water but if you live in a place that gets a lot of rain, I think this could be a good option for you as well. This would be a perfect light to keep in a boat or jet ski or even in the back of your truck where it may get exposed to the elements.

Very powerful, heavy duty diving flashlight with solid build construction
The Wurkkos D-70 is an absolute powerhouse of a diving light with an array of 4 XHP50.2 LEDS. The user interface is straightforward with 4 stepping levels low, medium, high and turbo up to maximum brightness. The 13000 lumens in turbo mode is the real deal. I have had a lot of powerful flashlights but this unit, powered by two big stacked 26650’s in series is in a class of its own. It’s amazingly bright.A diving light must be sealed so there is no on-body charging port. It comes with a USB C cable and charger that holds two 26650 cells which you remove from the light to charge. Under turbo mode the power draw causes the light to heat up quickly and limiter circuits will kick in to reduce lumens if it runs too hot. In low mode, the light gives you approximately 450 lumens for around 18 hours,As to accessories it comes with the aforementioned dual 26650 charger, a USB C cable, silicone seal replacement “O” rings, an operation manual, and a nylon lanyard strap you can attach to the light while diving to keep it tethered to your body. Build quality is very solid. The body is made of machined aircraft-grade aluminum with a segmented pattern on the tube body section for getting a good grip. Weight is about 1.3 lbs with batteries. You could use it to defend yourself as a short club if need be.For maximum lifespan and waterproofness, the switch is magnetic. As an interesting party trick, you can turn the light on without touching it if you bring a powerful magnet within a few inches of the switch. It claims a 100-meter depth rating, but I’ll take that on faith as I have no way of testing that. Interestingly, while heavy and solid it’s not that big dimensionally at 8 inches long, so it’s relatively easy to carry. It will not stand on its end as an LED “candle” as the lanyard hole is an oval ring cast into the butt cap of the light and does not provide a flat surface, but this is not an important feature for diving light.Overall, a very solid and dependable light from a dependable company. I own a bunch of Wurkkos flashlights and they have all been top performers, especially for the money.
