Munchkin® Bambou™ Divided Suction Plate - Eco-Friendly Bamboo Dinnerware for Babies and Toddlers

The first one I bought was from amazon resale & unfortunately there waa mold around where the silicone ring and plate meet. After getting a brand new plate, I am loving this plate! It helps a lot with my son's obsession with flipping his plate. I also like how the plate sections are nice and deep. We had a different bamboo suction plate before this one that I thought I liked but this Munchkin plate works particularly well for things like applesauce and yogurt that our old more shallow plate couldn't hold much of. I can't put this plate in the dishwasher but it's a 10/10 in all other ways ao I don't mind. It's easy to clean anyways. The suction works well and the bamboo is nice and thick and durable. Very happy with this purchase!

Amazing purchase, I only have ONE, so he uses it every day, two times a day. It looks just as new and the size is perfect. Also the suction thing on the bottom is a must since kiddos tend to get crazy with food and textures if you are going for independent eating. I clean it with Hot water and a few drops of plant based dish soap and stuff comes out pretty easy. Make sure to let it dry every time so the wood stays healthy.

This bamboo plate is simply gorgeous and looks amazing on the table! It is very well-made and sturdy. Best of all, it has strong suction to keep it in place so the kids won't knock it over. Make sure to read the care instructions included by the seller to make it last longer. Highly recommend!

The plate has a lovely, natural design that I really appreciate—it’s eco-friendly bamboo and feels high-quality. However, I’ve found that I don’t use it as much as I thought I would. For my baby, the divided sections seem to be more of a distraction than a help, so I often end up placing food directly on the table instead. Also, not being microwavable is rather inconvenient. The suction feature didn’t work well on our wooden dining table, likely due to the table’s uneven surface, so just a note there if you have something similar. While the plate looks great and is a nice idea, it hasn’t been the most practical choice for our mealtime routine.

I like this but....the suction does not work...my baby is able to lift it up and get it unsuctioned...sometimes it hits him in the face, it is quite thick and heavy so be careful.. I have to repeatedly press it down while we are eating or he lifts it up and flips it over. Cleans off easier if you wash it right away.

We have had this plate for over a year and I love it. We recently bought a replacement, because of 2 mistakes on our part. To prolong the life of the plate, follow these directions (these might be obvious to some lol): 1. Do not soak the plate for long periods of time/wash immediately. I give my son thawed blueberries that would sometimes stain the bamboo. I thought that maybe soaking the bamboo in some soap and water would help remove the stains. Bad idea. The wood circle on the bottom that holds the silicone ring ended up splitting in half (hence our purchase for a replacement). 2. Remove the silicone ring after each wash. Water got trapped between the ring and the bamboo and I noticed mold started to build up. Besides that, love this plate. Highly recommend.

This plate arrived with a disgusting almost gasoline like smell. It did not go away after washing it. Even after I put a piece of watermelon on it for 2 minutes, it tasted like the gasoline smell the plate had. DO NOT BUY IT! I can't believe that Emma Hubbard suggested this plate. So if you came to this from one of her videos, she must've gotten a brand deal or something because there's no way anyone would ever recommend this plate.

Switched to this bamboo plate after using silicone suction plates. The silicone ones make all of the food taste like soap after washing even once. I did not encounter that problem with this bamboo plate. It has a very good suction. Most auction items do not stick to the Stokke triptrap highchair table, however this one does a bit (this is a fail of the triptrapp). The suction works best on other surfaces, but works okay for this specific high chair. It’s worth the price. I was hesitant at first, but now it’s our go to plate and we use it for every meal.

O prato é lindo! O problema não é a marca, mas bambu mofa. Ainda mais tendo a parte de silicone embaixo… foi onde apareceram os primeiros mofos. Infelizmente não deu mais para usar

I was using Silicone plates and bowls for my son, but the suction on them was terrible and I could never get rid of the gross soap smell or taste after washing them. This bamboo plate has great suction and it's so easy to clean! I feel like it's a better low-tox item compared to other plastic utensils on the market. It's held up after countless meals as well, and I would definitely buy again
