Phenomenal audio quality. I’ve used other dongles in my car in the past, and the quality is always subpar. Not only does this pair right up soon as the car turns on, every note and baseline is flawless. It’s plugged right into my aftermarket head unit RCAs, included, and makes the system so much better. 10/10.

Plug and play, and used latest Bluetooth protocols. AptX HD is streaming above 500 bps from my phone from a MP3 stream. Higher fidelity may stream faster. Has its own DAC from Texas Instruments, which is certainly respectable. So you only need to plug in the RCA cables. Also has optical and coaxial outputs for your receiver or outboard DAC. Good range, connects quickly and uses little power.

This product work really well for the price. Audio sounds good and I have no issues connecting to it. However every 20-30 minutes I hear a popping sound. Not sure what would cause it but other than that it works great.

Runs well with very clean audio

Converted two older cars with good sound systems to bluetooth streaming from phone. Hooks up easily into any aux input. Sound quality and signal ot noise was excellent.

I decided to add Bluetooth capability to an older circa 2010 Denon AVR 2311Ci receiver to unlock music on my ipad and iphone devices. The AVR receiver has a wired USB port for ipad/iphone connectivity on the front but this is cumbersome for a two zone system. I'm using Zone2 and the pre-out connected into another separate amplifier to power two remote stereo speakers. In looking around at the various options from low-end to more expensive, I decided to go with this unit as it had two digital outputs (TOSLINK optical and SPDIF coax )which I could assign to a digital input on the AVR using its internal DAC. One of the interesting features was the TI/Burr-Brown DAC for use with the L/R RCA analog output. The spec'ed output level of the analog signals seemed good. I wasn't too worried about volume differences since my Zone 2 has it's own volume setting which I could leave cranked up as necessary, without being jolted when switching back to Zone 1 for normal A/V operation. I also have the option of boosting input levels via the receiver settings. I hooked the unit up using the L/R RCA with the supplied cables and I consider the sound to be quite for a $40 unit. The internal DAC in the unit is likely better than one in the AVR input. Bluetooth reception is good. The Bluetooth receiver is in the basement in a recessed(in foundation/concrete) entertainment and control of the unit via my iPhone is usable out to 30+ft. Bluetooth pairing is excellent-no issues. I would recommend.

The good: sound quality is fine, it's compact and I had no trouble setting it up and using it. The not so good: build quality is poor. It takes quite a bit of force to plug in the provided micro USB cable, possibly because the socket isn't lined up well with the housing. There is something loose rattling inside the device. There is no pairing button or power button. It automatically enters pairing mode whenever there is nothing connected. So anybody walking by outside could connect to it, any time of day or night, unless I unplug the sticky micro USB cable whenever I'm not using it.

Works great! DAC is good! I'm getting great crisp sound to my stereo!
