Lavilin 72 Hour Roll-on Deodorant, 60ml

I've been searching for good natural deodorants for a while and have tried quite a few in my time and not found anything that has worked quite as well as this one has. It boasts 72hr protection and whilst I've not stretched it to it's limit yet, I have to say it's the best of the bunch I've tried! I normally can get a bit smelly overnight (even after a shower before bed) but even after a full day active day (and in the heat), I didn't have a trace of stink! Obviously you will still sweat (it's not an anti-perspirant), but I would definitely recommend it for not smelling like a sweaty gym glass! I've yet to try the coveted brands like Soapwalla but this for me is definitely one I'd recommend for active people wanting to make the transition to more natural deodorants.

Expensive for a deodorant yes I thought, but worth a shot if the reviews are accurate. Well..... worn yesterday in 25 degree heat, out shopping all day sweating like mad. No smell whatsoever. Unbelievable. I even offered my husband a smell I was so amazed, he declined. After using aluminium free deodorant for years, trying every different one out there, I thought smelling at the end of the day was just one of those things. Cannot believe I’ve found one that actually works. Thank you.

I try it till now is perfect and better than the other one first it is natural deodorant without any chemicals adds stay for three days 72 h in hot weather I love that in it, its smell is very light and nice ! I think I will take from this to be my best deodorant everytime comes here

If you have a problem with conventional aluminium based antiperspirant deodorants then this is the best option. It wont stop you sweating (only aluminium does this), but it will stop you smelling. I'm always a bit suspicious of "magic" things, but this really is dramatically more effective than the alternatives.I tried many other options - the best I had found previously was Toms of Maine, but it struggled to last the day. Some of the others were utterly useless (special mention to Jason for struggling to last a couple of hours!). For me, Lavilin will confidently last a full day and have a decent go at a second day.Some tips:You do need to give it a few days before it starts working effectively, so try to time it so you are around the house and can fit in an extra shower or two until it gets established.Do not try to "roll it around" to achieve even coverage as you would with a normal roll on - it is much too liquid for that. Instead put on two or three stripes and then use a finger to rub it in evenly.Let it dry properly before putting on clothes. This is the biggest pain with it - you really need to give it a good 15-20 mins (or a lot of help with a hairdryer). If you feel any stickiness in your armpit, it is not completely dry.I'm very surprised that the product gets some very bad "it doesn't work" reviews - either these people are not following the steps above, or they have a radically different body chemistry!There is also a stick version which doesn't have the drying issues, but sadly is also a fair bit less effective. It has a quite different list of ingredients, so I'd regard it as a different product from the same manufacturer, rather than a part of the same range.EDITI've been using this successfully for over a year now, despite trying out a few others I've kept coming back to Lavilin. However, I've just started trying Soft & Gentle Aluminium Free (in theory for women, but a pretty neutral scent). It's not as effective a deodorant as Lavilin BUT it is an effective anti-perspirant, the first aluminium free product to do this! It is also much cheaper and easier to apply. Not sure yet whether it will replace the Lavilin or be used alongside it, but definitely worth checking out.

After experiencing quite heavy sweating I found all the other aluminium free deodorants rubbish! But having tried this it's fantastic... It really is! It's got a lovely smell too - which is a welcome relief and feels more like a 'normal' product. You must put this on, after you shower at night. It's not your typical deodorant that you apply daily. Put it on once every 3+ days, at night, and you'll see a dramatic decrease in sweating. I loved it and would highly recommend it. For daily use I use this brands sports stick - which gives me added odour protection. I would highly recommend it!

The best smell and performance. I have been using this deodorant for more than decade and there's no better than this one. I have searched the market for non aluminium deodorants and always came back to this one.

It reduced the smell of BO but I noticed that my armpits were lumpy and sore a week after I started using it. I have never had anything like this from using other deodorants so I stopped using it for a week and the lumpiness went down. I tried it again for another two uses and again my armpits became uncomfortable and lumpy. I would like a refund as this is very expensive. It took time to ascertain that the lumpiness was linked to the deodorant. There's no obvious step to asking for a refund.
