Clearly Best Cross Reference Study Bible
Quality and durable for every day use and taking with you. The box is tough enough to keep the Bible secure as well. The pages and type are clear and easy to read. Thompson chain is very helpful for studying the Bible without having to have WiFi and paid access to online bibles.

Wonderful Bible
I love this Bible. I use this as my study Bible, for my reading, reference, whatever. The references at the begeinning of each book give you the approx dates the book was written, by whom, if known, to whom, if known, a summary of the book. Each chapter has a brief heading. There are refernces, indexes, maps, book tabs. I had a lovely KJV my parents had given me at college graduation I loved and I had a hard time switching, but when I found this NKJV, I immediately took to it. It is well worth the money. You want leather bonded or bound so it will last.

It’s a keeper
It’s been a long time since I’ve had a new Thompson Bible, and I really wanted this one because of the cut outs and the size. Font size is OK and readable, but the chain references in the back of very small almost too small. I ended up buying a magnifying Bookmark to use for those. I was going to return it because of the small font size but I decided with the magnifier just to keep it to use it for many years to come.

Thompson chain reference is very good for studying the Bible, with many, many groups and subject cross references. In fact it is so in depth, having known the Lord and studied His word for years, it makes me feel in comparison like a little child, with how little I do actually know! I have found that sometimes quotes are given; usually in the NT quoting from the OT, but is not straight forward to find where the quote is taken from.

Amazing Study Bible
Just received it today... Thanks to Peacockbooks as the delivery of my thompson chain reference bible was on time and perfect just as I had ordered with no damages and brand new. This is the latest edition (July 2023) which is of a handy size (a tad bit bigger than the a5 size), comfort print meaning that the letters are not too tiny and red lettered. Beautiful packaging with navy leathersoft binding and thumb index that is so convenient. The chain verses are given in either sides of the page which is smaller than the main font and the . Pages are really delicate so you may want to use a highlighter that doesn't smudge onto to the other side of the page. It's has almost everything including bible character studies bible harmonies maps an nkjv concordance and alphabetical and numerical index of topics.
