Dewalt Hammer Brown Composite Toe Safety Work Boots - 11 UK

So after starting a recent contract at an airport, the constant backwards and forwards through metal detectors, and having to remove the steel toe cap boots, I had been using for the last 2 years become cumbersome and a bit of annoyance to the other more experienced workers, these were the perfect answer - No more boots off for me! I spent hours looking around for a decent pair of composite toe cap boots, and to be honest most of them were downright hideous, and also expensive to boot (No pun intended). These are extremely good value for money, they are from a decent brand with good customer support and are probably one of the best composite boots out there. These are comfortable, stunning build quality and they also look the part. They are ideal for my position (Electrician), and have a string of safety ratings included. They support the ankle well, which is useful in older plant rooms where your prone to hitting a subbys leftover off cuts they have hidden away. The only downside that I have found, is the top eye holes if you don't have the tounge of the boot in the right position you will find after about an hour that its digging into the side of the foot, however after you have worn these a few times you will pick this up pretty quick. And they only come in brown.........

I spent much of my life as a marine engineer on ships and as such the boots we used didn't get a lot of miles on them but instead the toes used to wear out as I worked under engines and the soles melt regularly when standing on hot pipework. However, working ashore overseas in a subsea construction yard my priorities changed. Whilst primarily office based the yard I visit is the largest by area in the world and thus I end up walking miles each day. Literally. And one thing you find out after having covered five or six miles in working boots, which ones are comfortable. So, I use these specific ones because they are all day comfortable. Not only that, they don't look ridiculous if you are back in an office and can't be bothered to change out of them. They are of course safety boots that meet all modern standards so no problems wherever you are working. Fairly robust although not quite up the super heavyweight boots loved by yard welders. However, unless you really are doing that kind of work these will give you a good long service life. My last pair have lasted 18 months which, isn't bad. When I was on board ships I reckon 6 months was as much as I could expect. So, overall, very good boots but most of all comfortable. You can even drive in them without feeling like you have deep sea divers boots on.

Comfortable but could do with a thicker inner sole. Will be getting an inner sole to go in it for long days on site. Quite lightweight for a steely and stylish

Good quality, light weight work boot. Leather is a bit stiff to begin with, but after an hour of wearing them they became very comfortable. Toe cap is nice and wide, allowing air to circulate around my toes without slippage of the rest of my foot. The collar seems stiff, but feels like it will break in after a little more wear. Would have preferred the collar to have been leather - in my experience PU cracks and fails long before the rest of the boot. Upper is treated to repel water, which it seems to do without issue. Haven't yet worn them in extremely wet environments, but anticipate them being no worse than any other leather boot. I will be wearing these boots in extremes of environments (cold & wet in the North Sea / hot & dry in the Nothe African desert / hot & humid in West Africa), so hopefully these boots will prove to be suitable for all.

I have brought other makes of work boots in the past that have been perfectly fine but thought I would try Dewalt boots this time as I do already wear Dewalt work trousers and am not dissapointed with those. The boots are very comfortable,fit very nice all over,around the foot and ankle region,they were a little more expensive than the ones I have purchased before but you do get quality for your money.

Great turned up Saturday was expecting them Monday but git them.brfore work Monday these boots are amazing would highly recommended for anyone that want a light work boots

This is the 4th pair of these I've bought. They have always been comfortable right out the box. I'm a delivery driver and wear them for up to 12hrs a day. They normally last about a year however this last pair have only managed 6 months before the sole started splitting. Shame because I like these boots. Maybe this time I just got unlucky.

Je recherchais des chaussures confortables, résistantes et sans métal. Ces chaussures répondent à mes attentes. La taille correspond et il y a un bon maintien. Il faudra prendre un compte quelques jours pour que la chaussure s'adapte aux pieds mais ça c'est un classique des chaussures de sécurité.

I got these boots a week or so ago and have worn them for 2 full days. All the material on the collar is delaminating which is just not good enough for a 100 euro pair of boots. Very disappointing I have to say.

Gabe lange gesucht und bin dann positiv fündig geworden. Der tiefel läst sich gut tragen. Ist nicht so steif vom Leder her und siet auch sehr schön aus. Die Sohle ist auch sehr angenehm beim gehen, also nicht so hart das man jeden Tritt hört.
