This item looks like a work of art. It fits with other pipes very well.

The male side of these are NOT a tapered NPT pipe thread. They are a straight pipe thread and will not tighten into a female NPT pipe thread. Other than that they are a very nice quality fitting.

These have a very thin wall and are cast. That isn't necessarily a problem, but just be aware. The internal threads aren't great. First they didn't drill the bore out prior to threading, to the crest of the thread has a rough cast surface torn up a bit by the tap. Then when putting it on the mating pipe it would only go on 1/2 turn before getting hand tight. I don't recall the spec for them, but they should go on a few threads before getting tight.In my application with 1/2psi propane it did seal, but I have little confidence it would on a higher pressure line because so few threads are engaged and the roughness.I have never seen cheaper ptfe tape. You can see thru it in places it is so thin. I won't use it on anything but air lines. Too much risk of it causing a leak and having to redo the pipe assembly.

The threads don't seal well. Use teflon paste instead of the tape and really tighten the elbows down to stop the drip.
