Well a book is a book, this one helps the ideals with a bit more practical help, in doing those basics parts of electrics that can be done, and save monies on all sort of jobs, with is well written book and the internet you can get those little jobs done, always be carefully with electrics, turn the mains off before starting,Just ready ,take in, the the basics,

I usually do all my own electric plugs. I am glad I bought this book its to the point with clear pictures. I was able to rewire my pond lights with no worry at all that I would end up flying through the air on my way to heaven(?) and am looking forward to other things that could do with a bit of a tidy.

This book is great ideal for those small jobs you need to do around the house very intricate detailing in what you can and can't do.

Bought alongside Collins complete DIY not realising that this book was a chapter within the larger red one, next to it. My error. Guess it may be handy to have a slimmer copy or perhaps I’ll re-gift it later on down the line.

A useful book to keep in for looking back on to refresh your memory. Very basic though not for the more serious electrical work. Remember electricity can kill.
