Great for anyone working with a child with ASD
This is an excellent book for anyone working with children with ASD. The book covers relevant terminology, safety and protection and ways to support communication, play and behaviour. There are useful resources for behaviour, a quality of education checklist, and an interest checklist. It also discusses different areas of play and how to support families.

Autism book
I like this book because it tells you that children who are on the autism spectrum are children first. It says that the difficulties that these children have in an in social understanding, communication and play / imagination. Then it tells you how to do something about it. It has a few funny stories to tell and some nice cheerful drawings.

Primary School Age
Probably should have realised from the cover that this was for teaching aimed at younger children. It does say so at the end of the forward but would be better of it highlighted on the cover. Anyway, read it and picked out some useful tips that will work for older children too.
